Who may participate? Any public or private school, upper Elemenatry and Middle School Students.  There are 2 divisions, Yellow Ball and Green Ball (see descriptions below).

Who runs the league?  Eric Zimmer, Southern Hills Tennis Center Pro, will organize & run the league. Teachers and/or Parents from each school will be the coaches/sponsors.  Schools are encouraged to schedule private lessons with the Tennis Instructors.

League cost: $70 (please pay school coach/sponsor)

Jan 14 - Feb 24: League Registration period.

Mar 1 (Saturday): "Season Kickoff" Tournament

Feb 18: Yellow Ball matches begin

Feb 26: Green Ball matches begin

Week of March 10: Caddo Spring Break, NO MATCHES 3/11 or 3/12.

"Spring Champions" Tournament:  TBD.  I am still waiting for all schools to report testing dates, feild trip dates, etc.  (Most likely it will be the week of May 5 DURING SCHOOL HOURS...the kids have enjoyed this in past!) 

Tuesdays—YELLOW BALL (6 week season)

Yellow Ball is a higher level than Green Ball.  It is for Upper Intermediate to Advanced Players.

Yellow Ball Match dates: 2/18, 3/18, 4/1, 4/15, 4/22, 4/29

Wednesdays—GREEN BALL** (6 week season)

Green Ball — Lower Intermediate Players. (Must have some experience, have taken lessons, and understand Tennis rules and scoring.)  Your coach should have given you the RULES OF PLAY and BASIC RULES OF TENNIS for guidelines on which level your child should play in and to read over with your child.  Any questions, please contact your coach or text Eric Zimmer at 318-751-5736.

Waiver of Responsibility & Media Release I understand the normal risks from playing tennis and hereby release the hosting facility, the professionals and any person involved from any responsibility for any damages, losses or injuries sustained in conjunction with this program for my child. 1.I hereby waive, release and forever discharge USTA, LTA, NWLA-CTA, and the participating facilities, Querbes Tennis Center and Southern Hills Tennis Center, their officials, instructors, employees, agents and support personnel from any loss, cost, or expense, claims or demands of any and every kind which I may now have, may acquire while participating in the "junior tennis" tennis program, or may hereafter have for any and all damages, losses, injuries, cost or expense which may be suffered or sustained by me in connection with participation in the “junior tennis” program AND/OR EXPOSURE TO INFECTIOUS SYNDROMES OR DISEASES TO THE PERSON OR PROPERTY OR RESULTING IN ILLNESS AND/OR DEATH OF THE UNDERSIGNED ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE EVENT(S), WHETHER CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE. BY PARTICIPATING OR ATTENDING THIS EVENT YOU ASSUME ALL RISKS WHETHER KNOWN OR UNKNOWN for you and your child. 2. HEREBY AGREES TO INDEMNIFY AND SAVE AND HOLD HARMLESS the Releasees and each of them FROM ANY LOSS, LIABILITY, DAMAGE, OR COST they may incur arising out of or related to the EVENT(S) WHETHER CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES or otherwise. 3. HEREBY acknowledges that THE ACTIVITIES OF THE EVENT(S) MAY BE DANGEROUS and involve the risk of exposure to infectious syndromes and diseases, serious illness, injury and/or death and/or property damage and he/she ASSUMES FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY RISK WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO BODILY INJURY, EXPOSURE, DEATH OR PROPERTY DAMAGE arising out of or related to the EVENT(S) whether caused by the NEGLIGENCE OF RELEASEES or otherwise. 4. HEREBY grants to the Releasees (and grants to the Releasees the right to grant to others), as well as their successors and assigns, in perpetuity, the irrevocable right (but not the obligation), with or without my knowledge, to film, tape, photograph, record, exhibit, edit, alter, copy, reproduce, license, sell, rent, disclose, display, publish, distribute, broadcast, webcast, prepare derivative works from or otherwise preserve, use and/or exploit in any format and/or manner now known or hereafter developed, whether  commercial or non-commercial in nature (collectively, the “Use and Materials”): (1) my appearance at and/or participation in the Event; (2) my name, likeness, signature, voice, singing voice, conversation, sounds, biographical data, testimonials, and/or any other information or material secured by the Releasees in connection with my appearance at and/or participation in the Event. I agree that Releasees shall have the right to the Use and Materials, for their own account, throughout the universe and in perpetuity. I acknowledge and agree that I shall not be entitled to receive any compensation whatsoever n connection with the Releasees’ exercise of its Use and Materials rights. I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF ALL RISK, AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE GIVEN UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY SIGNING IT, AND HAVE SIGNED IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT ANY NDUCEMENT, ASSURANCE OR GUARANTEE BEING MADE TO ME AND INTEND MY SIGNATURE TO BE A COMPLETE AND UNCONDITIONAL RELEASE OF ALL LIABILITY TO THE GREATEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW.
