It’s a Small World, After All: Navigating Dual Relationships and Boundaries with Clients
This training has ended, but a recording is available.
Training Information
No matter how big the world may seem, we are constantly surprised by how small it can feel. What happens when you run into a client in public? As people continue to seek therapists with similar backgrounds and perspectives to feel seen and understood, therapists are increasingly faced with navigating dual relationships and setting boundaries. Boundaries are not barriers and cannot support both sides of a relationship. Sylvia Corcoran, LCSW, MCEd. will facilitate a discussion with space to reflect on guidelines and engage with case examples with her trademark humor. This training will meet the requirements for Ethics continuing education credits for counselors and social workers.
