    We anticipate that some attendees may arrive in advance of the conference’s start on Wednesday, particularly if they plan to participate in the Leadership Academy, Teaching Workshop, or Scholars Forum. We are gauging attendees’ interest in an informal outing to explore some of what the area has to offer in the summer on Tuesday afternoon or early evening. To assist us in our planning, please indicate if you would be interested in such an outing on Tuesday afternoon.

          • Refund and Cancellation Policy

            Cancellations must be made by June 11, 2025 to receive a refund of registration fees. Refunds will be made to the same credit card number that was used to pay for the initial registration. To receive a refund, a cancellation request must be made by June 11, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. eastern time, by emailing ALWD Conference Site Committee Co-Chair Hilary Reed (hsreed@Central.uh.edu). Registration fees are non-refundable after that date.

            Hardship

            If the conference registration fee poses a hardship that prevents you from attending the conference, you may be granted a fee waiver.
