INFORMATION ON SCORING
The application process includes a scoring system designed to assess your understanding of the server rules, roleplay guidelines, and community expectations. Below is a breakdown of the expected scoring and the implications of your score:
EXPECTED PASS RATE:
To successfully pass the application process, applicants must score at least 70 points, which is 70% of the total possible score. This indicates a solid understanding of the server’s expectations.
- PASS SCORE: 70+ points (70% or above)
- FAIL SCORE: Below 70 points (69% or less)
If your score falls below 70%, your application will not be considered for the staff position.
FAILED SCORE:
Applicants who score below 70 points (less than 70%) will not be considered for the staff position. These applicants are encouraged to review their responses for any gaps in understanding or missing details before reapplying.
- FAILED SCORE: Below 70 points (less than 70%)
MANAGEMENT DISCRETION:
While scoring is a key factor in the staff application process, ownership and management retain the authority to decline or approve any application at their discretion—even if the applicant has scored enough points to pass the minimum requirement. This authority ensures that the team is composed of individuals who not only meet the necessary criteria but also align with the core values, vision, and culture of the server.
The decision to approve or decline an application is not solely based on the numerical score but also considers factors such as:
- Behavior and Attitude: We assess whether applicants demonstrate the professionalism, respect, and maturity necessary to represent the server effectively.
Roleplay Skills and Experience: We evaluate an applicant’s understanding of roleplay and their ability to contribute positively to the community.
Server Commitment: We consider how committed an applicant is to the server’s growth and the potential to build strong relationships within the team and community.
- Alignment with Server Values: An applicant must align with the server’s ethos and overall goals, including fostering a welcoming and positive environment.
If management, co-owners, or the owner deem an applicant unsuitable for the role despite meeting the scoring criteria, the decision will be upheld based on the reasons listed above.
CHANGES TO DECISIONS BY MANAGEMENT:
Once a decision is made to approve or deny an application, it can still be reviewed and altered by higher-ranking staff members. The hierarchy of decision-making is as follows:
- Management: If Management approves or denies an application, the Co-Owner or Owner may override this decision.
- Head Management: If Head Management approves or denies an application, the Co-Owner or Owner may override this decision.
- Co-Owner: If the Co-Owner approves or denies an application, the Owner may override this decision.
- Owner: The Owner holds the final authority, and once a decision is made, it is final.
This system ensures a thorough review process where multiple perspectives are considered before a final decision is made.

OPPORTUNITY TO REDO THE APPLICATION:
If an applicant fails the initial application process, the staff team may offer an opportunity to redo the application. This opportunity is not guaranteed and is entirely at the discretion of the management team. If granted, the applicant must wait at least 7 days before reapplying. This waiting period allows the applicant time to review their initial responses, gain a better understanding of server policies, and improve their application.
During the 7-day period, the applicant will still retain the @applicant role on Discord, which grants them limited access to staff channels. However, no permissions will be granted, and their access to staff channels will be restricted. This limited access is intended to provide the applicant an opportunity to gain insight into the workings of the staff team and server management. They may observe ongoing discussions, but they are not allowed to participate in any staff conversations or decision-making.
Additionally, the applicant may be required to attend in-game staff sits, assist with in-game reports, and participate in other staff-related duties during this time. However, their input will not be allowed—they are there solely to observe and learn from the staff's actions and decision-making processes.
It is important to note that the staff team is not obligated to give an applicant a second chance. If denied the opportunity to redo their application, the applicant must wait a period of 60 days before reapplying. Furthermore, staff applications may not always be open if the staff positions are filled, and applications could remain closed for several months.
STAFF TRAINING:
Once an applicant has successfully joined the staff team, they will undergo a comprehensive Staff Training Program designed to ensure they are fully equipped to fulfill their duties effectively and professionally. The training process is structured to provide all necessary tools and knowledge, while also promoting a strong understanding of the server’s policies and roleplay standards.
INITIAL TRAINING PROGRAM:
The initial training will cover several core areas:
Server Overview:
- New staff members will be introduced to the server rules, roleplay guidelines, and community expectations to ensure they are aligned with the server's values.
- A thorough explanation of the server’s culture, its mission, and the importance of maintaining a positive community environment.
In-Game Tools & Commands:
- Staff will be trained on the administrative tools, including moderation commands and handling in-game issues.
- New members will not have access to kick/ban commands initially. Instead, they will focus on observing and assisting with minor moderation tasks.
- Specific procedures for escalating issues to higher-ranking staff for further action will be explained.
Roleplay Guidelines & Enforcement:
- Ensuring all staff understand the roleplay expectations and how to enforce rules while maintaining an immersive experience.
- Training in conflict resolution, handling disputes between players, and de-escalation techniques.
Communication:
- Proper use of staff communication channels (both in-game and on Discord).
- Clear expectations on how to communicate with players, resolve issues, and provide support in a respectful and professional manner.
APPEALS PROCESS:
Applicants who have been denied staff eligibility have the opportunity to appeal the decision, but certain conditions apply to ensure fairness and consistency in the review process. An appeal can only be submitted 48 hours after the initial denial and must be made to the highest-ranking member who denied the application. If the applicant attempts to appeal after the 48-hour window has passed, the appeal will be automatically denied unless approval is granted by the Co-Owner or Owner.
If the appeal is denied by the higher member, the applicant may request a final review by the Owners. During this process, the Owners will review all staff comments and reasoning for the original decision. They will also consider any new information provided by the applicant and discuss whether there is a valid reason to reverse the decision. A unanimous decision is required from the Owners, meaning that both the Co-Owner and Owner must agree on the outcome. If one Owner says "no" and the other says "yes," the appeal will be automatically declined.
Once a final decision is made, if the appeal is denied, the applicant must wait 60 days before being eligible to reapply for a staff position. This waiting period ensures that applicants take the necessary time to improve and reflect on their previous application and experience.
FINAL REMARKS:
The staff application process is designed to ensure that only those who are fully aligned with the server’s values and capable of maintaining a positive, professional environment are selected to join the team. By following the outlined procedures and guidelines, we strive to ensure fairness, transparency, and consistency throughout every stage of the process.
Applicants are encouraged to carefully review the expectations, training, and appeals process before submitting their applications. Staff members must be dedicated, responsible, and committed to upholding the high standards set for our community.
We understand that not every applicant will succeed in their first attempt, and we encourage those who do not make it to take the time to reflect and improve. Should you not be accepted, we appreciate your interest and hope that you will consider reapplying once you have taken the necessary steps to enhance your understanding and experience.
The decision to accept or deny an application ultimately rests with the management team, and we ask for all applicants to respect the outcome of their application and any subsequent appeals process. Your participation in this process contributes to maintaining a fair and thriving community for all members.
Thank you for your interest in joining our staff team, and we look forward to reviewing your application!
