AGREEMENT OF RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY

I hereby agree to the following:

As I participate in activities offered by Third Soul Events, LLC,  the hosts and special guests, I understand that the offerings of this retreat are not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis, or treatment.

I will receive fitness/wellness related information and instruction. I recognize that all exercise programs require physical exertion that may be strenuous and may cause physical injury and I am fully aware of the risks and hazards.

If at any time during the activities I feel discomfort or pain, I will inform and seek assistance from the organizer.

I may rest at any time during the retreat. I will listen to my body and respect its limits on any given day.

I accept that neither Third Soul Events, LLC, the instructors, nor the hosting facility, are liable for any injury, or damages, to person or property, resulting from my participation in this retreat.

I understand that the $75 deposit for the retreat is final with no refunds and the balance of my payment is due by March 7, 2025. Cancellation fees will apply due to associated costs such as the catering service, accomodations, special guests, swag etc. I agree that all cancellations made after this date will be paid in full and that I may transfer my spot to another person. Payments may be made via Venmo, cash, check, money order or credit card (fees apply). All payments to be made to Third Soul Events. 

I understand while participating in this retreat, I may be photographed. I agree to allow my photo, video, or film likeness to be used for any purpose, specifically promotional, by the organizers, producers, or sponsors.

I have read the above release and waiver of liability and fully understand it’s contents as well as the Refund/Cancellation Policies. I voluntarily agree to the terms and conditions stated above.

Location:  Roxanne’s Retreat Compound- 2500 Rio Orilla Lane NE 87120 (private residence)

 Friday, May 2nd

Welcome dinner TBA (pay on your own)

Saturday, May 3rd

8:30am- Guests arrive- Coffee, tea, snacks and mingle

9:00-9:15am-Circle- Set intention 

9:15am- 11:30- Introduction to curanderismo with Rusita Avila. Blessing. Smudge. Honor 4 directions. Ofrenda (altar) making. (take natural breaks throughout)

11:40-12:40-Yoga and breathwork with Amy

12:45-2:00pm- Team cooking with locally sourced food (lunch)  Lead by nutritionist, Fallon

2:00-2:45pm- Free time- Group discussions, nature walk, journaling, meditation.

2:50-3:50pm- Attachment Styles lead by Tammie Celeste Knight

How they’re developed, what they look like in action, and how to develop secure relational attachment. 

3:50-4:05- Break

4:15-5:15pm- Sound bath Lead by Douglas with Lotus Sound Bath

9:30am-11:00am-Jemez Pueblo Visit- 18160 NM-4, Jemez Springs, NM 87025

Please note, when visiting the pueblo, it is required to obtain permission by the indigenous people prior to taking photographs on their land.

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTORS

Rustita Avila | Sobadora (Mexican traditional healer using massage). She also provides traditional healing through platicas (heart to heart listening/guidance), limpias (energy cleansing) and reiki.

Amy DeCesare | Yoga instructor B.S., M.Ed., RYT500. In addition to her RYT500 yoga training, Amy holds additional certification in Yin/Restorative Yoga, Trauma-Informed Yoga, and Yoga Nidra. An Independent Reiki Master, Amy enjoys weaving her experience in energy  work, meditation, mindfulness, and her professional background in health/physical education and counseling into her yoga teaching.  She teaches multiple-level Vinyasa flow classes creating spaces that are inclusive, inspiring, and supportive. 

Fallon Bader | Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), MS in Health Education.  Founder/owner of the Sprouting Kitchen. Spent two years serving with FoodCorps, where she worked to incorporate cooking and gardening into schools.

Tammie C Knight | Clinical Social Work/Therapist, MSW, LCSW, EMDR. Welcomes a warm and accepting space. Specializing in the treatment of trauma, anxiety, depression and relationship challenges with a focus on Attachment styles. Her approach is relational and communicative in working together with you.

Douglas Cardwell | Lotus Sound Bath. Master Percussionist and former Principal Timpanist for the New Mexico Philharmonic Douglas Cardwell brings his expertise in soothing sounds and contemplative tones to the realm of meditation. With certifications in sound meditation from Ascending Sounds, The Medicine of Sound Wellness Center + Duality energy and healing training with Jeffery Allen, peak performance training with Noa Kageyama, and over 30 years of professional experience in performance and private instruction, Douglas brings a wealth of knowledge and sound artistry to the realm of sound meditation and healing.
