Q & A:
Who is eligible to purchase an ad?
The publication is open to anyone who holds a Columbus County-based pageant title or to any Columbus County resident who holds title outside the county. Former titleholders may also submit an ad - noting the year in their title.
Examples of those eligible to be included:
-Current Columbus County Titleholders (Example: 2024-2025 North Carolina Strawberry Festival Wee Miss)
-Former Columbus County Titleholders (Example: 2018 NC Yam Festival Queen)
-Current Columbus County residents who are current titleholders in any pageants (Example: 2024-2025 Princess of Southern Carolina Junior Miss)
-Current Columbus County residents who are past titleholders in any pageants (Example: 1987 Miss Davidson County)

Can multiple titleholders share an ad?
No. The ads are one per titleholder.

In what order will the titleholders be shown? Can I be on the same page as other titleholders in my pageant?
The ads will be printed in alphabetical order by last name.

When is the deadline to purchase an ad?
Sunday, March 30 at 11:59 p.m. All ads must be purchased online and paid for at the time of checkout.

Can I change the design of my ad from the standard template?
For consistency purposes, The News Reporter will design all ads using the format shown in the marketing materials for this publication.

How will the publication be printed? Can I get extra copies?
The publication will be printed on newsprint in a special section of the April 3 edition of The News Reporter. The digital version of the guide will be published in full color and be available for viewing at no charge at NRcolumbus.com.
Extra copies of the April 3 edition of The News Reporter will be available for purchase at grocery stores, gas stations and other retailers across Columbus County. They will also be available at The News Reporter’s office, 305 Liberty St., Whiteville.
Upon request, The News Reporter will e-mail a high-resolution electronic copy of the ad to the titleholder/their family. This file can be printed at a print shop of choice in a high quality format that is suitable for framing.
