2025 ICUA YOUTH RALLY & SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Idaho Falls Power proudly sponsors the annual ICUA (Idaho Consumer-Owned Utilities Association) Youth Rally and Scholarship Program, which supports and empowers our community's future leaders. The mission of the Youth Rally is to inspire, pique curiosity and help youth develop the leadership qualities they possess. It is a week filled with fun, friends, and learning. Youth will have a blast while learning about the utility industry, business, and government and will develop leadership skills, build self-esteem and meet and build long-lasting relationships with other local area students and youths attending from Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, and Alaska. Activities also include dances, pizza and ice cream parties, an obstacle course, talent show, volleyball, movies, swimming at the water park, lawn games, a tour of the Capitol, and more!
Idaho Falls Power will select 9 eligible high school students to attend the annual ICUA Youth Rally and award them with a $500 college scholarship. The 9 winners will represent Idaho Falls Power at the week-long 2025 ICUA Youth Rally, July 07-11 at the Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, ID. All accommodations, expenses and travel will be paid and arranged by Idaho Falls Power. Throughout the week at the Youth Rally, IFP delegates will have the opportunity to earn even more scholarship money and will compete with delegates from other utilities to be selected as the Idaho Representative at the NRECA (National Rural Electric Cooperative Association) National Youth Tour in Washington, D.C. The National Youth Tour expenses are paid by the ICUA.
