    Please submit your application for presentation at the conference by February 14, 2025.

  • Selection Process

    All submitted proposals will be carefully reviewed by the AZ AER Program Committee. We welcome topics relevant to professionals in all areas of our field, including adult rehabilitation specialists, orientation and mobility instructors, low vision therapists, assistive technology instructors, teachers of students with visual impairments, early intervention service providers, parents and families, general and special educators who serve children with visual impairments, deafblind practitioners, etc.

    Once your submission has been reviewed, you will be notified by email. We extend our sincere appreciation for your time, expertise, and willingness to share your resources and knowledge with AZ AER educational professionals.

     

  • Equipment

    AZ AER will provide LCD projectors, microphones, and screens for presenters. 

  • Handouts and Presentation Materials


    We ask that you will provide any regular print handouts that you bring in accessible formats as well (large print and braille) for participants who request them. Guidelines for creating accessible handouts are available on the National AER website: http://aerbvi.org.

    Please send any accessible electronic presentation materials that you would like to have included in our online Drive for conference participants (i.e., PowerPoint presentations, print handouts, etc.) to Megan Mogan at mmmogan@arizona.edu no later than February 24, 2025.

  • Waiver and Consent

    By submitting this application, we ask for your consent to the following terms:

     

    Each presenter listed on the application must register for the conference.

     

    AZ AER is unfortunately unable to pay for transportation, lodging, meals, honorarium, or other costs for presenters, but for each individual who is invited to present at the conference, the registration fee will be waived.

     

    Individuals or groups who have been accepted for presentation at the conference are requested to notify Danielle Cummings at danielle_cummings@msn.com by February 24, 2025 if a scheduled presentation needs to be cancelled.
