• From Court to College Scholarship

  • About the Opportunity:

    Presented by USTA SoCal, All-Love Racquet Club, Fortune Tennis, and Dreamers Youth, The From Court to College Scholarship is designed to support incoming college freshmen with a passion for tennis, community engagement, and personal growth. This scholarship reflects our commitment to inclusivity, education, and the transformative power of sports. The final scholarship amount will be determined based on funds raised during our Black History Month event.
  • Eligibility Criteria:

  • To apply, applicants must meet the following criteria:


    1.     Race & Ethnicity

    • Applicants must identify as being of African American or Black descent.

    2.     Incoming Freshman

    • Be an incoming freshman enrolled at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university in Fall 2025.

    3.     Connection to Tennis

    • Demonstrate a clear passion for tennis through participation (competitive or recreational).

    4.     Community Involvement

    • Show active participation in community service, mentorship, or other initiatives that reflect a commitment to giving back.

    5.     Academic Achievement

    • Maintain a minimum GPA of [insert GPA, e.g., 3.0 or equivalent] in high school.

    Application Deadline is April 11, 2025, at 11:59pm. Finalists will be contacted directly for invitation to meet with our scholarship committee.
