  • The Saskatchewan Craft Council is seeking juried SCC members to be marketers at this year's Craft Is... Fine Craft Market!

    This is the third year we've hosted this market in conjunction with SaskGalleries and Art Now Fine Art Fair. This year, both events will be held in Saskatoon from October 2 to 4.

    2025 Recap

    The 2025 event was quite successful. The type of visitors Art Now draws are appreciators of fine art and craft, so they value the quality of the work our marketers sell. The event had 2,200 visitors over its 3.5 days, held in Regina. The average weekend sales of each marketer was $1950, which was slightly higher than 2024.

    Marketers may expect more or less sales per day depending on the products they sell and their individual market experience. We recommend marketers consider a variety offer a pricepoints for items in their booths to encourage sales. In Saskatoon this year, we will be using the positive reputation of the Saskatchewan Craft Council to draw our customers and supporters to the event.

    Early Bird Booth Prices 

    Save $100 if you apply before May 30th!

    The SCC has lowered these booth fees in order to support our valued marketers. This is offered to offset travel and other costs.

    Early Bird Booth Prices:

    • 10 x 10' - $290
    • 10 x 16' - $360
    • 20 x 10' - $580

    Regular Booth Prices (in effect after May 30th):

    • 10 x 10' - $390
    • 10 x 16' - $460
    • 20 x 10' - $680

    Applications are first come, first served. The SCC does not require a deposit this year. Upon completion of this application, your selections will be reviewed by SCC staff and, once approved, you will recieve a contract via email.

    After April 1, 2026, you will recieve an invoice via email with instructions to make your full payment online. Booth share partners must make one payment (and then privately arrange to reimburse their booth share partner).

  • Marketer Move In & Set Up

    Marketer Take Down & Move Out

    • Sunday, October 5, 5 - 7 pm

    The SCC recommends that marketers bring their own dollies or carts for quick and easy transportation when setting up. Providing dollies or carts for marketers is not the responsibility of the event centre or of the SCC.

     

    Security

    There will be security on-site 24 hours a day. Please report any suspicious activity immediately.

     

    Liability Insurance

    You are responsible for any lost or damaged merchandise. Having liability insurance is recommended, and the SCC can not provide this for you.

     

    Rental Equipment

    Marketers are responsible for any damage to booth rentals provided by the Saskatchewan Craft Council. Please do not pin or alter curtains used for pipe and drape. If you find damage to curtains, please let SCC staff know prior to set up.

  • Membership Information

  • Please note: You must be a juried Professional Craftsperson member to participate in Craft Is... Fine Craft Market. The deadline for our Free Annual Jury Sessions was February 17. If you still wish to be juried, please reach out to contact Alexa at members@saskcraftcouncil.org. There will be a $50 fee and jurying will be dependant on the availability of jurors.

  • Shared Booth

  • Sharing a booth with a fellow artist allows marketers to assist each other in set up, take down, and sales. Shared booths are 20 by 10 feet. Shared booth responsibilities shall be determined by the marketers and must include processing sales for each other. Only two businesses may share a single space.

  • Display & Lighting

  • Please note:

    • The Saskatchewan Craft Council does not provide lighting for our craft market booths. Marketers are responsible for bringing their own booth lighting.
    • Electricity is included in your booth fees and there will be one outlet available per booth. However, to keep the circuit from overloading, we strongly suggest you use LED bulbs.
    • Marketers are also responsible for bringing their own booth signage. A professional and polished booth display is expected by all marketers at SCC events.
  • Marketer Demonstrations

  • We offer the opportunity for marketers to bring attention to their work by giving public demonstrations of craft techniques. Presentations will be held on the Saturday of the market, and each marketer that volunteers will be assigned a time slot. The SCC will provide one table and chair, and you must bring all other necessary equipment. Marketers who volunteer to host a demonstration will not be paid.

  • Booth Relief

    The SCC is unable to provide booth relief coverage this year. We recommend that marketers arrange with their booth neighbours to cover each other's booths to take a break. There will be a break room assigned for marketers, and we will ensure that a microwave is available for your use.
