  • Texas Coastal CattleWomen, Inc. (TCCW), a 501c3 organization covering thirteen Gulf Coast counties, is affiliated with Texas CattleWomen, Inc. (TCW-state) and American National CattleWomen (ANCW-national Our local organization welcomes members from any county in Texas to work with us in the serving of the following counties: Austin, Brazoria, Chambers, Fort Bend, Galveston, Grimes, Harris, Liberty, Montgomery, San Jacinto, Waller, Walker and Wharton.

    We share friendships and have a passion for supporting and being ambassadors for the Beef Industry by providing accurate facts and reliable information to consumers (neighbors, friends, etc.) concerning the nutrition of BEEF. The world of Agriculture is in great need of our support, and we provide this through Beef Industry promotion. We also help our ranchers in times of dire need, such as droughts, fires, and floods.

    Owning cattle is NOT a requirement for membership.

    TCCW's Fundraiser is held annually. This EVENT allows us to offer college scholarships to study agriculture related, consumer science, or hotel / restaurant management - courses for a major, and to financially provide for other activities.

    TCCW has lunch meetings on the third Wednesday of each month EXCEPT: February (2nd Wednesday); March and July (NO meetings); and December (Christmas Party). Some of our annual events include:

    -Distributing beef education activity books to country fairs;

    -Having a Christmas dinner;

    -Supporting National Ag Week with activities to promote beef education at the rodeo or, in the community;

    -Donating packaged frozen ground beef to various non-profit organizations.

  • We are Texas CattleWomen.

  • We provide an organization through which women function collectively to protect their industry, work toward solutions of beef cattle problems, to inform consumers of the importance of the industry and of the contributions it makes to the economy of the nation.

    Because of the prevalence of misinformation about BEEF, CattleWomen strive to provide science-based information to consumers regarding the nutritional benefits of BEEF in a healthy diet. The continuing progress and prosperity of the industry is the mainstay of all our activities.

    The number of people in our business decreases each year, as is our voice in national and local affairs.

    That is why the work of Texas CattleWomen is so important and why we, as a group, must work together and speak out for BEEF. If we who are vitally interested in the welfare of the BEEF Industry do not support the industry, who will?

    Texas CattleWomen participate in several ongoing state projects...

    • BEEF FOR FATHER'S DAY
    • BEEF GIFT CERTIFICATES
    • legislative action calls
    • Ag Day promotions
    • distribution of BEEF education materials
    • the Texas Beef Leaders of Tomorrow Program
    • fundraising for scholarships
    • Women in Ranching Education
    • Tours
    • and More!

    We also have representation on the state and national level with seats on both the Texas Beef Council Board and the Cattlemen's Beef Board.
