Board meetings are held monthly on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM.

Board members are expected to:

Serve on at least two committees

Attend monthly board meetings (no more than 3 absences per year) *

Support and participate in key fundraising events

CEF is a non-partisan organization focused on supporting CISD students and educators. Board members are expected to collaborate respectfully and support board decisions once made. Each Board Member is expected to:

Serve a renewable 3-year term
Pay annual board dues (historically not exceeding $250)
Attend monthly board meetings
Serve on committees and support foundation-wide efforts
Participate financially in annual fundraising efforts
Help identify future donors and board prospects
Serve as an ambassador for CEF
