Hospitality Research Grant Report

Congratulations on being selected as a benefactor of the Timothy S.Y. Lam Foundation's Hospitality Research Grant!

Your research grant results report should follow research methodology and include information such as:

• The aim of the project and a summary of various results and the steps taken to achieve those results.
• Measurable units such as: the number of participants, labor hours, dollar amounts, weights, durations and other quantifiable data and calculations.
• Visual synopsis of research findings in the form of tables, graphs, charts, time progression photos etc.
• Evaluations of correlations between variables in past research studies and in current research project subjects or environmental conditions.
• Results from multiple participants or research subjects with data comparisons, comments, experiences, suggestions, and other noted documentation.
• Summary of collected data and results.
• Comparison analysis of 3rd party research studies on a similar research topic (if applicable) with citations and references. Was there progress or digression? Were there additional variables or findings that the initial research did not account for?
• Educated opinion responses to the projected outcomes or long-term effects on the hospitality industry related to the research conducted (see report outline below)
• Financial Records such as receipts and invoices that reflect the proposed use of TSYLF research grant funds.
