This is a day just for students in Iowa who are deaf or hard of hearing, featuring interpreters and deaf educators collaborating with Living History Farms staff to offer students full access to educational activities. This free event is for kindergarten through eighth grade students. Participants will meet and interact with peers from other schools, in addition to exploring the rich agricultural history of Iowa and getting first hand experience with it! Visit a 1800s Blacksmith shop, general store, print shop, and more!
*** Living History Farms is open, rain or shine. Please ensure students dress according to the weather, including footwear. Some paths on site may be wet and/or muddy.
In the event of severe weather necessitating postponement/cancelation, registrants will be informed via email as soon as possible. ***
