Spring Commissioning is one of the most important parts of annual boat maintenance. We provide full-service commissioning, from bow to stern. Our trained technicians can take care of everything you need to get you on the water for the summer season. Our multi-point inspection will identify any issue with your boat's systems to ensure your boat's safety and reliability for the upcoming boating season.

Pre-Launch Commissioning

Unless otherwise noted, Our Boat System Testing, Exercising and Commissioning is billed at time and materials (T&M). Our labor rate is $150.00 Per hour. NOTE: BOATS OVER 40 FEET IN LENGTH WILL BE QUOTED FOR ALL PAINTING AND DETAILING SERVICES.

OUTBOARD ENGINE TUNE UP/COMMISSION: Consists of the following: Replacing Spark Plugs, Fuel Filters and Zincs. Visual inspection, check all fluids, check belts, check and flush fuel lines, check throttle and shift function, check steering system, run engine to temp, check operating parameters, check charging system, applying corrosion inhibitor, greasing all points and touch up engine paint**Parts and Materials are billed separately** If any issues are found you will be notified by our service department. Boat System Commissioning: Commissioning/Onboard System Testing involves running systems and making sure there are no operational issues. Our Onboard System Testing is billed at time and materials. Should any issues be observed we will notify you with a cost to repair and game plan. Our Labor Rate is $150.00 Per hour. Estimated times are below.

Terms and Conditions:

After you submit the service order, you will be contacted by our Service Department within 7 days to review your entire scope of work and answer any questions you may have. Once the work has been scheduled, Full Keel cannot guarantee the accommodation of any add-on items. Please be as thorough and detailed as you can be on this order form.

In the event that we encounter a problem with your boat beyond the scope of the work you ordered, you will be contacted by a member of our Service Department to discuss the issue, provide an estimate, and obtain your approval before completing anything outside of the work ordered herein.

If services are canceled within 7 days of the scheduled start date, the deposit is not refundable. Should you need to cancel the services, please contact us prior to 7 days before the scheduled work date, and we will issue you a refund.

We will do our best to deliver your boat on the exact requested date; however, this schedule is on a first-come, first-served basis. Your delivery date may be ±3 days depending on availability. Our service team will work closely with you on this.

You will receive your estimate digitally via our system, BOATYARD. You will be required to approve the estimate and will be billed through the same system upon the completion of work. You will also be invited to join the portal where you will have real-time access to all of your work history and work orders.
