    The Mississippi Centers For Autism and Related Developmental Disabilities (MCARDD) is seeking a self-motivated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Experienced Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to work in a local profit center.

    The work location for this position is D'Iberville (Biloxi), Mississippi. The schedule is Monday to Friday from 8-5 with no weekends.

    FULL JOB DESCRIPTION:

    BCBA is responsible for conducting assessments, ensuring all billable hours are completed in accordance with applicable funder requirements, analyzing data and making data-based program changes, developing and overseeing individualized treatment plans based on the principles of ABA, providing training for new therapists, strong organizational and prioritization skills, oversee all client cases (various ages, behaviors and functioning levels)

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Conduct initial intake assessments
    • Develop treatment plans and obtain insurance authorizations
    • Manage and design data collection systems
    • Provide parent training
    • Monitor client progress
    • Supervise and train staff members
    • Conduct staff performance reviews

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Master's degree in a relevant field
    • 1-3 years of clinical experience (preferred) - OR - newly certified BCBAs eager to learn
    • Licensed Behavior Analyst in the state of Mississippi (or willing to obtain licensure - we'll support you through the process)
    • BCBA Certificate REQUIRED
    • This is a part-time position (25 hours per week) with an hourly rate depending on experience.

  • EXPERIENCED REGISTERED BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN (RBT)

    FULL JOB DESCRIPTION:

    Under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), an RBT provides one-to-one instruction to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or related developmental disabilities within clinic or school setting.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Work collaboratively with a BCBA supervisor to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy
    • Represent the program in a professional manner
    • Participate in ongoing staff development and training
    • Driving requirements may exist in various demographic areas
    • Actively participate in fundraising, planning and implementation by committing time, energy, and enthusiasm to ensure the continued success of the program
    • Collect detailed behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions and input into an electronic device, logging all hours and data accurately
    • Complete daily session notes within 24 hours in an electronic format
    • Adhere to the BACB RBT Code of Ethics
    • Have a thorough and working knowledge of all items listed in the BACB RBT Task List
    • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
    • Able to withstand and manage daily challenging behavior


    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Must be 18 years or older
    • Must possess a valid driver's license
    • Must pass background check
    • Reliable transportation required
    • Associate degree preferred but not required
    • Experience/Education in field such as mental/behavioral health, social work, psychology, etc. preferred
    • Current RBT certification preferred
    • Proven experience working with individuals and families on the Autism Spectrum
    • Must be self-motivated and detail-oriented
    • Must be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment
    • Seek and incorporate feedback, supervision, and ongoing training
    • Compassion and patience towards children with disabilities and their families
    • Must be able to work as a team member with multiple other professionals in a courteous, engaging, and collaborative manner
    • Be goal-oriented and maintain professionalism in all aspects of your work
      Technologically proficient; familiarity with Apple and/or Android devices
