Below, we’ve outlined the steps in our hiring process so you know exactly what to expect. We’re committed to finding individuals who share our passion for helping others, and we can’t wait to get to know you better.
Please note there are no full-time positions at this time. Available positions are between 2-20 hours per week.
Step 1: Apply Online
Your journey begins with the quick and easy application process below. You’ll share your background, answer a few short questions about why you’re passionate about helping others.
What we’re looking for:
• Integrity, Compassion and Empathy - you do the right thing and you care.
• A strong desire to make a difference in people’s lives.
• Strong communication skills - you have strong verbal communication skills and are able to use text messaging.
Step 2: Initial Video Screening
Once we review your application, we’ll invite selected candidates to a short video screening. You will respond to a set of pre-recorded questions on your own time.
What to expect:
• An opportunity to share your background and what motivates you.
• Situational questions to understand how you connect with others.
Step 3: Skills Assessment
This is where you’ll show us your ability to manage real-life conversational scenarios. We’ll provide a brief online assessment designed to evaluate your empathy, active listening, and adaptability.
What to expect:
• Role-playing scenarios.
• Written questions to assess how you’d handle challenging or sensitive situations.
Step 4: Final Interview with our Hiring Team
If you advance to this step, you’ll meet with our hiring manager for a deeper conversation about your skills, experiences, and readiness for the role.
What to expect:
• A 30-minute video interview.
• Questions that dive into your ability to handle sensitive situations with care.
Step 5: Background Check and References
To ensure we are continously building a trustworthy and reliable team, we’ll conduct a standard background check and contact references who can speak to your compassion, reliability, and communication skills.
Step 6: Offer and Onboarding
If you’re a great fit for the role, you’ll receive an offer to join our team!
Once you accept, you’ll begin our Comprehensive Conversationalist Training Program, where you’ll:
• Learn about HIPAA compliance and our care standards.
• Build skills in emotional intelligence, empathy, and professional communication.
• Gain all the tools you need to succeed and feel confident in your new role.
