  • In Silicon Valley, several public access television stations serve the community, offering platforms for local content and opportunities for residents to get involved.  These stations offer various programs and may provide opportunities for community involvement.

     

    • CreaTV San Jose: This nonprofit organization operates multiple public-access channels in San Jose and the surrounding area. San José residents, organizations, and businesses who are members can submit non-commercial videos for airing on Channel 15.
    • MVT 15 Silicon Valley Community Media: Serving Mountain View, Los Altos, Cupertino, and Sunnyvale, KMVT 15 broadcasts on Comcast channels 15 and 26, as well as AT&T U-Verse channel 99 throughout the Bay Area. They offer community shows and provide information on how to watch their programming.
    • Santa Clara City Television: As the city's government access channel, it provides important information about local government, including live and recorded airings of City Council and Planning Commission meetings. It's available on Comcast cable channel 15 and AT&T U-verse channel 99.
