• 2026 Chopstix for Charity Grant Application

    The National Association of Asian American Professionals (NAAAP) Atlanta invites local organizations to apply for the 2026 NAAAP Atlanta Chopstix for Charity (CFC) Grant. Please review these guidelines carefully and submit your proposal in this application form. A preview of the application questions are available on the next page.
  • Applications must be received by Saturday, August 15, 2026 by 11:59pm EST. No extensions will be granted.

    This year, we look forward to application submissions that align with our 2026 target categories:

    • Civic and Community Advocacy
    • Refugee and Immigrant Wrap-Around Services
    • Small Business Support
    • Early Childhood and Youth Services/Engagement
    • Health Services (Physical, mental, emotional well being and health)
    • Education and Elevation of AAPI Culture
    • Sustainability

    If you are looking to submit an application for a project that has not received funding from NAAAP Atlanta within the last three (3) years, we highly encourage you to apply. If you are an organization that has received funding within the last 3 years, you may still apply.

    Eligibility

    The NAAAP Atlanta Chopstix for Charity Grants Program seeks to fund not-for-profit Asian and non-Asian organizations that provide services or benefits to Asian and Pacific Islander communities in metro-Atlanta. NAAAP Atlanta welcomes applications from 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organizations or projects that are fiscally sponsored by a 501(c)(3) organization in the Atlanta area that provide valued services benefiting the Asian and Pacific Islander community.

    The CFC Grants Program has particular interest in funding organizations or projects that directly engage members of the Asian and Pacific Islander community in making transformative, positive change within their own community. Although all requests are considered, CFC favors new and emerging organizations or projects that are collaborative, sustainable, and has potential to have a positive impact beyond the funded grant period.

    The following are NOT eligible for funding:

    • Grants to individuals
    • 501(c)(4) organizations or projects fiscally sponsored by a 501(c)(4) organization
    • Public relations programs or campaigns (public education campaigns are an exception)
    • Grants to any organization for the purpose of conducting religious programs or activities
    • Political parties, organizations for specific candidates, political action committees and/or any organizations that exist to support them
    • Government and other municipal organizations
    • Building campaigns (no bricks and mortar)

    The following documents are required with your application:

    • A list of your organization's current board of directors and their affiliations and/or work/job position and affiliation
    • A list of key personnel involved with the proposed program/project and their qualifications or brief biography
    • A copy of your organization’s most recent audit certified by a CPA, Form 990, or financial statement
    • A completed budget form (Optional template provided below)

    • Please submit ONE (1) application per program/project/event/activity.
    • There is a ONE (1) grant application limit per organization.

    Submitting Your Application

    Completed grant applications and requested additional documents MUST be done through this form by Saturday, August 15, 2026 by 11:59pm EST. Expect to receive an automated confirmation email acknowledging receipt of your application. No extensions will be granted. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.

    We strongly encourage applications be completed in one sitting so you do not lose your work. It is recommended that you download the application below to see the full list of questions and keep track of your responses in a separate document so you can complete the entire application when you are ready to submit it.

  • Grant Awards

    Results of your application will be shared directly with you via email no later than Friday, October 9, 2026. All organizational recipients will be announced at the Chopstix for Charity gala on Sunday, November 15, 2026. Recipients should make plans to attend the gala on November 15(more details about this will be sent separately). Grant payments will be dispersed no later than December 31, 2026.
