If you are looking to submit an application for a project that has not received funding from NAAAP Atlanta within the last three (3) years, we highly encourage you to apply. If you are an organization that has received funding within the last 3 years, you may still apply.
Eligibility
The NAAAP Atlanta Chopstix for Charity Grants Program seeks to fund not-for-profit Asian and non-Asian organizations that provide services or benefits to Asian and Pacific Islander communities in metro-Atlanta. NAAAP Atlanta welcomes applications from 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organizations or projects that are fiscally sponsored by a 501(c)(3) organization in the Atlanta area that provide valued services benefiting the Asian and Pacific Islander community.
The CFC Grants Program has particular interest in funding organizations or projects that directly engage members of the Asian and Pacific Islander community in making transformative, positive change within their own community. Although all requests are considered, CFC favors new and emerging organizations or projects that are collaborative, sustainable, and has potential to have a positive impact beyond the funded grant period.
The following are NOT eligible for funding:
- Grants to individuals
- 501(c)(4) organizations or projects fiscally sponsored by a 501(c)(4) organization
- Public relations programs or campaigns (public education campaigns are an exception)
- Grants to any organization for the purpose of conducting religious programs or activities
- Political parties, organizations for specific candidates, political action committees and/or any organizations that exist to support them
- Government and other municipal organizations
- Building campaigns (no bricks and mortar)
The following documents are required with your application:
- A list of your organization's current board of directors and their affiliations and/or work/job position and affiliation
- A list of key personnel involved with the proposed program/project and their qualifications or brief biography
- A copy of your organization’s most recent audit certified by a CPA, Form 990, or financial statement
- A completed budget form (Optional template provided below)
