Instructions for uploading Position Papers:

• One person should submit all papers from each delegation. Preferably, this should be the faculty advisor or head delegate. For split delegations, one person from each school should submit for their portion of the delegation.

• If you have more than one Country/NGO assignment, you need to submit a separate form for each Country/NGO assignment.

• School names are exactly as you entered them on your registration form. If you cannot find your school name on the list, look at your registration confirmation to see how you entered it. For example, Michigan State University rather than MSU.

• Country names match the Find Your Assignment tool. If you cannot find your country name on the list, use the Find Your Assignment tool to see how it’s listed. For example, Congo not Republic of the Congo.  

• Save each Position Paper in PDF format named as committee name and your assignment. For example, GA1_Cuba or UNEA_DPRK. Note: If your files are not in PDF format, you will be unable to submit the form. 

• The deadline for submission is 11:59 pm EST, 1 March. Position Papers submitted after this date will not be eligible for award consideration.

If you have questions or concerns about the position paper submission process, please email the Deputy Secretaries-General (dsg.ny@nmun.org). Please do not submit Position Papers to this email account. 

Please attach a Position Paper for each committee to which your Country/NGO is assigned. If you are NOT assigned to a committee, you do not need to attach any file. 

Please ensure all file names are correctly formatted as: Committee_Country/NGO.pdf. For example, GA1_Afghanistan.pdf or UN-Women_UK.pdf.
