2025 Charles Whitcomb Service Award

The Association will use the following criteria for selection:

Individuals/administrators whom have gone above and beyond to create a welcoming, inclusive and supportive environment in which there is a caring and valuation for all individuals, identities and perspectives within the field of athletics.
Individuals whom have demonstrated an outstanding effort or commitment to the recruitment, hiring and retention of a high-quality and diversified staff on a continued basis.
Individuals/administrators who have taken specific identifiable measures to establish a stimulating, dialogic environment that engage all campus/organizational members and advance knowledge and understanding of issues and perspectives associated with diversity and inclusion (i.e., proactive, positive engagement around diversity).
Individuals/administrators whom have established initiatives/programs that have become a vital component to improving the campus/organizational climate for underrepresented groups.
