OLDS BEERFEST REGISTRATION AGREEMENT AND INDEMNIFICATION This Beerfest Registration Agreement and Indemnification ("Agreement") is entered into by the undersigned participant ("Participant") and the event organizers ("Organizers"), upon registration for Beerfest. By signing this Agreement, the Participant agrees to the following terms and conditions: 1. ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND LIABILITY WAIVER The Participant acknowledges and understands that participation in Beerfest involves risks, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, property damage, or loss. The Participant voluntarily assumes all risks associated with attendance and participation. The Participant, on behalf of themselves, their heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, agrees to waive, release, and discharge the Organizers, sponsors, vendors, and venue owners from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising out of or related to participation in the Olds Beerfest, including but not limited to claims resulting from negligence. 2. INDEMNIFICATION The Participant agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Organizers, sponsors, vendors, venue owners, and affiliates from any and all claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from the Participant’s actions, conduct, or violations of this Agreement during Beerfest. 3. NO REFUNDS POLICY All Beerfest registrations are final. No refunds, transfers, or credits will be issued for cancellations, no-shows, or inclement weather. The Organizers reserve the right to modify, postpone, or cancel the event due to unforeseen circumstances, in which case refunds will be at the sole discretion of the Organizers. 4. CODE OF CONDUCT The Participant agrees to abide by all event rules and regulations, including responsible alcohol consumption, compliance with age verification requirements, and respectful behavior towards staff, vendors, and other attendees. The Organizers reserve the right to remove any Participant for misconduct without a refund. 5. PHOTO AND MEDIA RELEASE The Participant grants the Organizers permission to use their image, likeness, and voice in event-related promotions, marketing, and media coverage without compensation. 6. GOVERNING LAW This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the province of Alberta in which Olds Beerfest is held. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of that jurisdiction.*
