NEW WORKS SHOWCASE Auditions!
  • TINY MUSICAL & DON'T CRY FOR THEM AUDITION SIGN UP

Thank you for sharing your talents with us! Please take a moment to fill out this pre-audition form to help us better know your interests.
  • Auditioning at Stage Left:

    • Auditions run from 12PM to 5PM Saturday and 12PM to 2:30PM Sunday February 8 & 9, and Callbacks will be promptly at 3pm on Sunday February 9 at Stage Left Theater, 108 W 3rd Ave. Please select a 15 minute time slot below and DO NOT ARRIVE MORE THAN 5 MINUTES EARLY to your audition to prevent crowding in our lobby.

    • Please prepare 16 to 32 measures of a song of your choice. You will have time to consult with the Music Director before you sing.

    • You may submit a video audition if you are unable to attend either days. Please use the section below to provide a link to your video. Your video should be no more than 3 minutes long.

    • Call-backs will be held Sunday, February 9 at 3pm. Please wear clothing and footwear that allows you to move easily.

    • All New Works actors are provided a gas/parking stipend of $50, paid on or before your Closing Performance and share equally in the Actors Appreciation Pool collected during the run of the show.

    • If you have a headshot and/or resumé, please bring them with you, or attach below. These are not requirements to audition! If you do not have a headshot, we may request to take a photo of you after your audition. These will be used only for casting purposes and not shared anywhere else.

    • Please fill out any known conflicts that you may have during the rehearsal and production dates at the bottom of this form. Be honest: Better to list conflicts than to surprise us later. Having conflicts does not preclude you from being cast UNLESS it's after the beginning of your show's tech week (DON'T CRY FOR THEM: APRIL 21 tech to closing on APRIL 27; TINY MUSICAL: APRIL 28 tech to closing on MAY 4).

    • Remember, if we do not cast you, it doesn't mean that you didn't audition well, or that others were more talented than you. Many factors go into the casting process, and often excellent auditions do not lead to an offered role, while "less-than-stellar" audition do! There are often times when a show is cast and then changes are made after that casting due to conflicts, illnesses, etc., so maintaining a positive outlook during and after auditioning is crucial. More than anything, you are here to show us who you are. Be yourself. Be professional. HAVE FUN.
