Parents/guardians experiencing additional financial hardship due to the application of VAT on private school education are kindly invited to complete this application form. This will allow for an assessment to be conducted regarding potential financial assistance through the YIF Schools Hardship Fund.

All information provided will be treated with the strictest confidentiality and will be securely destroyed after use. Please note that this fund and application form is entirely separate to the YIF Scholarship programme, which is currently closed for applications.

Terms & Conditions
1. Financial support subject to the availability of funds and not all applications will be approved.
2. Following an initial assessment of your application, you may be required to provide documentary evidence to enable us to process your form (e.g. bank statements, payslips, utility bills, proof of income, school reports etc.). Applications will be rejected where no such information is provided on request.
3. Financial support, if approved, relates only to the school fee and cannot be used for the purpose of other payments you are required to make to the school, such as for administration charges, examination fees, school lunches, school uniforms, etc.
4. Financial support is not transferable to another child, including siblings, or to another school, or academic year.
5. The provision of financial support is not a guarantee that the same will be provided in future years. A new application must be made for each year if the fund is retained.
6. Where financial support is provided, the funds are paid directly to the relevant school and subsequently reflected in your school fee invoices.
7. All financial support provided is on the condition that the child shows good academic achievement and progress, excellent behaviour, and excellent attendance throughout their time at the school. All parents and guardians are required to fully support the child’s academic studies, support the work and activities of the school, attend parents’ evenings, and engage with the school in accordance with the Parents Behaviour Policy. Where this is found to not be the case, any financial support may be withdrawn with immediate effect.
8. As a recipient of financial support, you agree to providing a testimonial and allowing your name/s and that of your child, together with any approved photographs, to be used in any reports and marketing material related to the related to Islamia Schools Limited, the YIF Schools Hardship Fund, and/or the Yusuf Islam Foundation.
9. The decision of Islamia Schools Limited on financial support is final.
10. Financial support is strictly confidential and, unless sanctioned by Islamia Schools Limited, you must not share details of your support with other individuals.
11. These terms and conditions should be read in conjunction with the 2024-25 Fees & Deposits Terms & Conditions available on the school web site.
12. Any information you submit as part of this application will be held and assessed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation.
