This program is exclusively designed for single parents, women who are the primary income earners in their families, or those facing financial constraints or currently receiving the Aswasuma benefit and aspiring to start their own baking business.

Short listed candidates will be contacted for an interview and a baking aptitude test.

This scholarship is applicable to ladies between the ages of 20-35 years.

14. Terms & Conditions
AB Mauri Lanka is offering a scholarship program named “Empower Her" for 20 deserving women.
Applications are accepted from till 20th February 2025.
Interview and aptitude test on the 22nd February 2025. Announcing recipients on the 24th February 2025.
This scholarship is applicable to ladies between the ages of 20-35 years.
This program is exclusively designed for single parents, women who are the primary income earners in their families, or those facing financial constraints or currently receiving the Aswasuma benefit and aspiring to start their own baking business.
Employees, interns, trainees and family members of employees at ABM, its Associate Companies, outsourced service providers, ABM’s Advertising Agency and its Media Partners are not eligible to apply.
The selected candidates will be offered five baking modules free of charge at the Mauri Baking School.
Each baking module will be on weekdays from 8.30AM - 5.00PM.
Each module will take place on a given schedule by the Mauri Baking School within May - July 2025, at 124 Templer's Rd., Mount Lavinia.

Applicants must bring the following documents to the interview:

1. Aswasuma Document (if applicable)
2. Reference Letter
3. Proof of Financial Need (documents demonstrating financial hardship)
   
   Failure to provide these documents during the interview may result in disqualification from the selection process.

Once the registration process is complete you will be notified on your face to dace interview. if shortlisted. There on candidates will be informed on the status of their submission – selected or rejected.
