Thank you for registering your interest in becoming an Associate Member of the Pastel Society of Ireland. We have in place an selction process where applicants submit work to a members' panel and successful applicants will be admitted to associate membership. Notification of acceptance or not, will be given by the Secretary to you by email, a week after the selection process.

Submission of 3 framed, exhibition-ready artworks.
They MUST be clearly labelled on the back, the name of the artist, the title of the work, and the medium.
The permitted media used to create artworks are:-
soft pastels, oil pastels, charcoal, pencil/graphite, coloured pencils, mixed media where at least 80% of the piece is created using dry media/pastels.
It is important that these artworks were created within the last 3 years, and they reflect your best work. It is recommended that they display your distinct style, which shows your "voice" in your art to best advantage.
Note: A collection of works which follows large variation in; styles; sizes; or different media, for each submitted piece, may be in danger of giving the apearance of there being a lack of clear identity in the artist's practise, however keen they may be to display breadth of skill.

15th March between 1.30 - 2pm and are to be collected between 4 - 4.30pm. Late entries are not permissable.
You will receive notice of the outcome of the judging process a week after it takes place via email.
