2026 Summer Video Auditions

Thank you for your interest in DCYOP! Please include the following in your audition video:
- Any piece of music that you are currently practicing either at school or with your teacher
- Two scales of your choice

How to film videos: You can film the video on a phone. The phone should be kept steady and held about ten feet away from the student. The student’s face, both arms, and instrument should be in the frame for the entire video. The video does not need to be edited and may be submitted as filmed. We are looking for your best playing, so please feel free to try a few times before finalizing the video submission.
All audition criteria should be recorded as one video. Please upload the audition video to YouTube unlisted. Videos that are kept on the private setting are not viewable and thus cannot be considered.
