Gender Justice League is a membership-based organization

Our Bylaws define two classes of members: 

1. Board Members who are voting members, conduct the business of the organization, elect officers, and are responsible for informing community members annually about the activities of the organization. 

2. Community Members who are not voting members of the organization and who do not vote on resolutions or elect board members. Community members are anyone who supports the mission, values, and vision of the organization. Community members may of their own choosing donate, volunteer or support the organization in any other fashion to forward our mission.

What are the benefits of becoming a member? 
By becoming a community member of Gender Justice League, you will be kept up to date of our organizations activities and receive updates about events, advocacy efforts, and community gatherings. You will also be showing your support of Gender Justice League's mission, values, and vision; bolstering our efforts to advance the rights, safety, and culture of TwoSpirit, Trans, and Gender Diverse people; and helping to show our shared strength in numbers.  

Is Gender Justice League's Membership List Public? 
No. Gender Justice League maintains a private membership list.
We do disclose non-identifying information about our membership as a whole, such as overall demographics or our total number of members; but we will never share your personal information. 

Do I need to donate or volunteer to be a member? 
No. Membership is free and open to anyone supporting our mission, values and vision. While we strongly encourage our members to engage with Gender Justice League in whatever ways that are personally meaningful, you will never be required to donate or volunteer to be a member.
