2025 Spring D-Groups

Apologetics is the study of how to defend our faith in a way that strengthens and encourages the Christian. The purpose of this particular course is to equip us in order to defend our faith. So, when folks you know may have doubts about whether or not the Bible is accurate and true, you can be equipped to share with them the truth as to why the Bible can be trusted as absolute truth.

This D-Group will focus on Baptist History in colonial United States. This course will focus primarily on South Carolina, but also the southeast United States, and will study the progression of how Southern Baptist have come to be the largest protestant denomination in the United States.

This is a brand-new D-Group! Explore the 5 Love Languages through a Biblical lens. This study is designed for everyone - whether you are single or married and in any stage of life. The purpose is to help you better understand how to give and receive love in a Christ-centered way. Together we'll reflect on scripture, deepen our relationships with others, and learn how to live out God's love more fully in our everyday lives.

This D-Group is for Adult Ladies only. This all-ladies group will be studying how to walk a personal relationship with Jesus Christ that matches what often comes out of our mouths. This is a Kay Arthur Bible Study that is led by Lauren.

This is a new D-Group that is being taught by someone with over 50 years of Pastoral experience. Our Associate Pastor, Rev. Steve Kittrell will be teaching this D-Group that will guide you through the history of the Kings that ruled in Israel. If you've ever studied the OT and gotten easily confused with all the different kings listed, this is the D-Group for you.

This is a new D-Group taught by our very own Minister of Music. Mrs. Sherrell Ott will be guiding those who take this D-Group through the different Spiritual Gifts that are found in scripture. We know that everyone who is a believer in Christ Jesus has a spiritual gift. What is yours and how do you use it? Take this D-Group to find out. This is a Kay Arthur study.

This is a new D-Group that would be great for those who are interested in serving in VBS this summer but have never done so! In this D-Group, you will be taught the lessons, music, and decorating activities that the kids will be doing this summer. This will prepare you to effectively be ready to teach and reach them!

This is our children's D-Group for children 5-12. Keith and Amber Bachelder (plus volunteers) are teaching this class. Childcare for 4 and under will be provided separately.
