    2025 AABE Philadelphia Chapter Scholarship

    The American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE) Philadelphia Chapter Scholarship is now available to apply to! Applications and all required materials must be received by April 16th. Our chapter is offering up to six $2,000 scholarships to graduating high school students in the Greater Philadelphia Area. This scholarship assists students with their higher education needs. The recipients of the scholarship will receive $1,000 their freshmen year and another $1,000 their sophomore year (based on proof of attendance). In addition, the students are provided a mentor from one of our chapter organizations.

  • The American Association of Blacks in Energy is a professional organization of African Americans in the energy industry. Through its Scholarship Program, AABE seeks to help increase the number of African Americans, Hispanics, and Native Americans (underrepresented groups) in energy-related fields. By doing so, we help our nation address a critical need and a challenge to our future economic vitality in the world market.

Our top scholarship recipients may also be automatically eligible to receive an additional MidAtlantic or AABE National scholarship.
