Inspire Good of WNY, INC. is excited to be collaborating with (local sponsor) on the Mayville Winter Festival Medallion Hunt. The contest will run for 10 days with a daily clue posted each day. The clue will be shared on the Mayville Winter Festival Facebook page, the Mayville Winter Fest website, the Post Journal, and on air. The clues will get easier as days pass and it still remains unfound.
The winner of the Medallion Hunt will receive a gift basket of local gift certificates valued at $250.00.
There are RULES for the Medallion Hunt:
1. You must be registered to be eligible to win the prize.
2. There is a $10 per person registration fee, due with registration.
3. You will be looking for a 3'x5' ivory colored carved medallion as shown in the photo above.
4. The person who finds the medallion must turn it in to claim the prize as it is used year after year (it was handmade from naturally shed elk antler) - this is not the prize and is not to be kept.
5. The hidden medallion will only be placed on ACCESSIBLE PUBLIC PROPERTY only in the northern-most part of Chautauqua Lake.
6. The treasure will be in a protective bag or case and will not be buried below ground, hidden above any body of water, or placed in the water.
7. Participants seek at their own risk.
8. The treasure hunt will run for 10 days and will end Friday (if not found before) of the festival weekend.

10. Registration will be be open until it is found.
