Ulanqab is a pivotal region for the Chinese ferrochromium industry, currently accounting for 68% of China's ferrochrome production capacity. It has undergone significant capacity expansion in recent years. Strategically located in the Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 400km from the Tianjin port and with access to stable energy grids, as well as significant potential for green energy development.
The event will provide a comprehensive overview of China's macroeconomic and industrial development, particularly in the context of recent economic challenges. Key topics to be covered include global markets, key end-uses, green transition and geopolitics.

Please submit your paper no later than 25 February 2025.
Papers accepted for the conference will be presented in person by the speaker and made available to conference attendees, as well as to ICDA members.
Papers will be presented as PowerPoint presentations (only a protected PDF will be made available to participants) and speeches should not exceed a maximum of 25 minutes.
