Understand DBT Core Principles
Learn the foundational concepts of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), including the balance of acceptance and change, mindfulness, and emotional regulation.
Develop Mindfulness Skills Build practical mindfulness techniques to enhance self-awareness, focus, and present-moment awareness, which can improve emotional regulation and decision-making.
Enhance Emotional Regulation Gain tools for identifying and managing intense emotions, reducing emotional vulnerability, and increasing emotional resilience in everyday situations.
Improve Interpersonal Effectiveness Learn strategies to communicate more effectively, set healthy boundaries, and strengthen relationships while respecting both yourself and others.
Increase Distress Tolerance Acquire skills for tolerating distressing situations without resorting to unhealthy coping mechanisms, including crisis survival strategies and acceptance techniques.
Apply DBT Skills in Real Life Integrate DBT skills into daily life, practice problem-solving in real-world contexts, and enhance overall well-being through actionable skills and strategies.
Promote Long-Term Emotional Health Establish a foundation for long-term emotional balance, personal growth, and self-compassion by learning how to manage life's challenges effectively.
