The Committee of the Manor Market is happy that you (the Vendor) wish to join us at the Manor Market (the Market) this year! Acceptance of this agreement is required in order to be considered during the Committee selection process of applications. Once selected, this agreement will confirm your participation; it outlines the rules and regulations for this market.
1. Payment. Upon receiving an Acceptance Letter from the Manor Market team you will receive instructions of how to submit payment. The market fee is $35 for each Market date. Payment must be received one month prior to the Market date in order to secure your spot.
2. Vendor Cap. We are a small venue with a cap of 30 vendors because we value a friendly, community atmosphere. If you need to cancel a date that you signed up for, please inform the Market as soon as possible in order to give someone else a chance to participate.
3. Cancellation Policy. Manor Market is held rain or shine, and fees will not be refunded for cancellations less than 2 weeks before the Market date. In the event of an extreme weather event that forces the market to be cancelled all vendor fees will be refunded or applied to future market dates.
4. No Show. If you are a no-show to a Market date without any communication you will not be permitted to return.
5. Set up. On Market day please plan to arrive between 7-8am. All vendors must bring all supplies for their market stand and be able to set it up without assistance from market staff. Vendors must be set up by 8:30. No vehicles will be allowed through the market area after 8:45.
6. Breakdown. Vendors are required to stay until the close of market. No vehicles will be allowed in the market area before 1pm. If you leave your space before the required times you will not be permitted to return. Vendor agrees to remove everything from the assigned site at the end of Market.
7. Subletting. Vendor agrees not to sublet any or part of the space that is allocated for the duration of the Market. The committee reserves the right to immediately remove any sublet with no refund of market fees.
8. Prohibited items. Vendor may not sell alcoholic beverages at the Market. Market does not allow images of guns, alcohol, denominational/religious messaging, or political messaging in anything for sale at the market.
9. Loss. Neither Immerse International nor the Market Committee can be liable for any losses or theft suffered by the Vendor in connection with the Vendor's participation in this Market.
10. Electricity/generators. Limited electricity is available upon request and is considered on a case by case basis. You must be approved for electricity prior to the beginning of the season. Food vendors using generators must be mindful of noise. Excessively noisy and/or disruptive generators will not be permitted.
11. Insurance. We highly recommend Vendors carry vendor insurance. Immerse International is not responsible for any damaged caused by or to your property.
12. Canopy Weights. You must use weights to insure your canopy is secure and will not blow over due to wind gusts. There must be a weight secured to each canopy leg, not just leaned againist it.
13. Parking. Vendor parking right next to your stand is not guaranteed. Some spaces will require you to unload and then move your vehicle outside of the market area. Each Vendor is alloted one space. Any additional vehicles must park in public parking.
14. Map. A Market Layout Map will be emailed to vendors one week prior to Market day. If there is a problem with your assigned space you must notifiy the manager immediately. Switching spaces on Market day is not permitted. You must set up in your assigned space.
15. Food Vendors. A Health Department representative may attend any given market with no prior notification for inspections. Vendor is responsible to have all required certificates and forms on hand as required by the Health Department and maintain their stand in a clean and hygenic manner at all times. Please determine prior to market if you are required to provide a handwashing station at your stand. Water is not available within the market.
16. Restrooms. Indoor restrooms are available from 7am - 1:15pm in a building within the market area. Restrooms are for vendors and customers.
17. Social Media. Photos and social media promotions are highly encouraged. We want our market to GROW! All vendors will receive at least one social media promotion highlighting their business during the month prior to all approved market dates. Please provide the market manager with any new photos you would like used in the promotions via email.
18. Failure to comply with the above points may result in termination of involvement in the Market, with retention in full of vendor fee and/or an additional charge - to be determined solely by the Manor Market Comittee.
