We invite our upcoming graduates to the Monarch Graduation Celebration on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at 6:00 PM, a special evening hosted by Undocumented Student Services to honor the resilience, achievements, and journeys of our graduating students.
Formerly known as UndocuGrad, this celebration has been renamed to welcome all UC San Diego students, especially those impacted by immigration, including students from mixed-status families. Inspired by the monarch butterfly, the event reflects migration as a natural act of survival, growth, and strength.
This celebration is open to all UC San Diego students graduating in Fall 2025, Winter 2026, Spring 2026, and Summer 2026 across undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs.
Join us for a joyful evening with family, friends, and community, featuring food, a photo booth, professional photography, and an opportunity for graduates to share words of gratitude and reflection.
RSVP is required to secure your spot and walk ins will not be accepted. Ceremony location details will be shared via email after registration and will remain private to ensure the safety of our attendees.
RSVP deadline is Sunday, May 10, 2026. For questions, please contact dlcastaneda@ucsd.edu
