  • Welcome to our online fire permit application!

To ensure the safety of our community and compliance with municipal bylaws, a valid fire permit is required for all outdoor burning.

    Important Information:

    • FEE: All permits are $20 and can be paid by credit card directly through this application. Standard Permits will be issued immediately via email upon payment. If you'd like to pay using another method, please visit the municipal office.
    • TENANTS: If you’re a tenant, you’ll need to provide the property owner’s email information. The property owner will be contacted to grant their permission, and your permit will be emailed once approval is received.
    • WINDROW OR SLASH PILES: For these types of burns, the area must first be inspected and approved by the Fire Department. You’ll receive your permit after the inspection is complete. You will be required to complete a burn plan. To help speed up the process, you can attach a burn sketch directly to this application.
  • Tenant Information

Thank you for providing this information. As a tenant, we require the property owner’s permission before issuing your fire permit. You’ll be asked to provide the property owner’s email address in below.

Once submitted, a Tenant Permission Form will then be emailed to the property owner for their approval. After they’ve signed off, you will receive your permit. Thank you!
