DON DIEGO SCHOLARSHIP FUND
TITLE 1 SCHOOL BUS PROGRAM

The Don Diego Scholarship Foundation may provide bus funding to schools meeting the criteria so that their students may participate in the Plant*Grow*Eat agricultural education program of the San Diego County Fair.

To be eligible, a school must be a Title 1 school with 80% free lunches and no other source of funding for field trip buses.

Funds may only be used to cover the cost of buses to and from the school and the San Diego County Fair.
Funds will be paid directly to the bus company.

Step 1 — Be approved to participate in the Plant*Grow*Eat program at the San Diego County Fair.
Step 2 — Be approved for the bus grant from the Don Diego Scholarship Foundation (submission of application does not guarantee funding.)
Step 3 — Once approved, after your visit to Plant*Grow*Eat, students must send a thank you note to the Don Diego Scholarship Foundation Board of Directors. Failure to do so will result in not being eligible for a future grant.
