Award Eligibility

Nominees must be a member in good standing with MSAR during the qualifying year: January 1 through December 31 of 2025. The Rookie of the Year award recognizes the achievements and professionalism of a REALTOR® who has been involved in real estate sales for one year. The eligible "Rookies" are those newcomers to the profession, whose enthusiasm, achievement, and professionalism show strong indications for success in the future, as well as promise for leadership in the organization. It is our hope that such recognition will foster greater interest in our association, while applauding the efforts of new agents in achieving initial goals and plotting a course for future excellence in the industry.

Please Note: Nominees can be considered for Rookie of the Year only once.

Judging Criteria
1. Continuing Education courses taken (20% Consideration)
2. Participation in association events and activities. (30% Consideration)
3. Production during qualifying period. (50% Consideration)
4. Volume shall be computed according to Circle of Excellence Rules.
Nomination Rules
- Please fill out this application in its entirety.
- You will be prompted to upload a copy of your Production Report/Spreadsheet. For those applicants who work with a company that automatically tracks production volume via a company/corporate/broker-generated report, you may submit that production report in lieu of completing the production spreadsheet. The spreadsheet will still be available for those who need it at THIS LINK. MSAR prefers the company-generated report over the spreadsheet for ease of audits.
- Your production report / spreadsheet must be signed by your managing broker, certifying that the sales listed are accurate and correct to the best of their knowledge.
Who may nominate?

Any member of Metro South Association of REALTORS® may nominate a rookie. Rookies may also self-nominate if they meet the criteria listed above.

Nomination Deadline

All nominations must be received no later than 5:00pm, February 23, 2026.
Participation (30%): How many MSAR events did the nominee attend during the qualifying year?*

Continuing Education (20%): Please list any Continuing Education Courses completed by nominee during the qualifying year. Include 36 hour post-license course completion date and any designations or certifications earned.*
Production (50%): Please upload your 2026 sales production volume via a company generated report or a completed COE sales spreadsheet.*
