2025 First Bank Entrepreneurial Scholarship Form

Thank you for your interest in the First Bank2025 Entrepreneurial Scholarship. Our goal is to help students pursue their educational goals and dreams, which can open up a variety of opportunities in the future. Through this scholarship application we hope to spark some entrepreneurial interest in Rice County youth.

The $500.00 scholarships will be awarded to one senior at the following high schools:

Chase High School

Lyons High School

Sterling High School

The winner from each school will be selected by school designees.

Winners from all three schools will then compete for a second $500.00 scholarship for the Rice County Overall Entrpreneurial Winner. A representative of Sterling Chamber of Commerce, Lyons Chamber of Commerce, and Rice County Economic Development will blind review the business plans and the winner will be selected by majority vote.

Winners will present their business plans at a First Bank designated event and will be featured in various medias highlighting their success.

Scholarships will be paid directly to the trade school or college of the student's choice.

Supply a sample of your business logo and product or service design. (Worth 10 points)

Supply a business budget to be submitted with your grant application. Should show a monthly breakdown of expenses and income for a whole year. (Worth 30 points)
