Dear Returning or Perspective Health & Wellness and Nonprofit Village Participant:
Going into our 22nd year, Fiesta is proud to be one of Alabama’s largest, longest-running and most beloved annual celebration of Latino culture!
Fiesta 2025 will take place Saturday, September 27, in Linn Park, Downtown Birmingham. We hope that you will make time to join us for this important celebration of Culture, Music, Singing, Food, and, of course Family Fun!
On behalf of Fiesta, a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization, and its Board of Directors, we would like to invite you to participate in our 2024 Health and Wellness Village. Coming out of a world-wide pandemic, the Health and Wellness Village is more important than ever. As a participating organization, you can expect to be a part of an event that will put your name and services in front of thousands of festival patrons.
The Health and Wellness Village has been a tremendous part of Fiesta since it was first introduced in 2005. The purpose of this Village is to access the community's medical needs and to provide attendees with educational materials and professional assistance. Our goal is to help familiarize guests, both Hispanic and non-Hispanic alike, with the medical options and resources available to them.
For an early bird fee of $150 (until August 15) or $200 (after August 15), any health, wellness and/or medical related NON-PROFIT organization interested in participating will receive the following:
- Booth space in the Health and Wellness Tent, which includes one (8 ft) table and (2) chairs
- One waterproof/reusable sign for your booth
- Access to standard 120 power if needed
- Marketing and advertising as an official Fiesta 2024 Health and Wellness participant
This year, we want to create excitement and friendly competition amongst our nonprofit partners. We are pleased to announce that Fiesta will be donating cash awards to the nonprofit booths with the most "flavor and excitement":
- $500 to 1st Place
- $250 to 2nd Place,
- and $150 to 3rd Place
The judges will look at every booth in terms of:
- Booth area is neat and clean
- Booth is attention-grabbing
- Efficient use of resources
- Does the booth have an interactive attendee experience
- Does the organization have proactive and cheerful staff and volunteers
Winners will receive a cash prize and post-event recognition on Fiesta's social media outlets.
We hope you will plan to join us for this important celebration of Art, Culture, Music, Dance, Food, and, of course, People!
All approved organizations are responsible for the following:
- Any extension cords and power strips to access standard power
- A copy of your 501(c3) non-profit letter of determination
Your tent and or space will be ready for occupancy by 8:00 am on Saturday September 28th. The event will begin at noon the same day and continue until 8:00 p.m.
