This application is for candidates interested in earning their Advanced EMT certification with the Emory EMS Education Program during the Fall 2025 - Spring 2026 academic year. If you already have EMS certification and are interested in volunteering with Emory EMS, please visit the Emory EMS website for more details.

Describe a significant mistake that you made recently in your life. What lessons did you learn from this experience? Explain." (maximum 500 words)

While the Emory EMS Education Program does not require specific criteria for letter writers, recommendations are typically provided by individuals who know the applicant in a professional capacity, such as teachers, employers, volunteer coordinators, or coaches. Letters of Recommendation are due by the same deadline as the application.

I understand that students are financially responsible for additional fees such as transportation to and from internship sites, uniform accessories, etc. More information about costs/fee estimates associated with the program can be found on the Emory EMS Education Program's website.*
