Ember Business Workshop Application

Thank you for considering Ember Business Fundamentals.

Ember is a five-week, in-person program for business owners serious about growth. Expect working sessions, clear instructions, and direct accountability.

Schedule

• Thursday evening: kickoff workshop with a shared meal, group conversation, and guided session
• Saturday: session two
  All remaining sessions: Saturdays

Commitment Standard

You must be ready to attend on time and stay engaged. Unexcused absence or repeated tardiness may result in removal from the program.

Application Review

The application takes about four minutes. We review submissions carefully and select owners who are focused, consistent, and ready to act on what they have already started.

Priority

Warren, Ohio, businesses are prioritized. Applications are open to any committed small business owner ready to grow.

Availability and Selection

• Only 11 seats are available.
• Spots are reviewed in the order applications are received.
• Apply as soon as possible to be considered.

Submission does not guarantee acceptance. This program is designed for owners prepared to show up fully and lead responsibly.

Workshop Location

• Downtown Warren, OH
•  Full location details will be provided to accepted applicants
• This is an in-person working environment.

Attendance Requirements

• Must attend the Wednesday kickoff and first workshop
• Attendance at all sessions is required to receive a Certificate of Completion

Unless a reasonable excuse is provided and approved, missed sessions disqualify participants from certification. This program values consistency and follow-through.

Dress Code/Presentation Standards

• Jeans are welcome.
  Wear attire appropriate for a comfortable business learning environment.
• Tops with vulgar or offensive language or images are not permitted.

Investment and Payment Method

• $25 participation fee
• Payment is due before or on the day of the first session
• Accepted forms of payment: Cash, Check, or Credit Card
• Credit Card payments may incur a 3% transaction fee

Payment confirms your commitment to the program and your seat.

Conduct Policy

This program maintains strict standards to protect a focused, respectful learning environment.

• Participants who appear impaired or smell strongly of marijuana may be asked to leave
• Removal is at the discretion of the program manager or workshop coordinator
• No refund will be issued in these cases

This policy is enforced without exception.
