Client understands that owning, raising, and training a dog involves some level of risk. Dogs are living, thinking beings — and while every precaution is taken to promote safety, bites, scratches, or other injuries may occur. In some cases, training may reveal that a dog’s temperament or needs are not the best fit for the Client’s current lifestyle. By signing this agreement, the Client acknowledges these risks and accepts full responsibility for any injury, loss, or emotional distress that may arise during or after training. Your dog’s well-being and safety are always my top priority, and I’ll guide you every step of the way to minimize risk and keep training positive.

Client understands that Chasing Tails Dog Training, LLC will make every effort to provide accurate, effective, and safe instruction. However, training involves human and canine behavior, and unintentional errors or omissions may occur. Client agrees that they are ultimately responsible for their dog’s behavior and actions at all times — both during and after training. By signing this agreement, Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Chasing Tails Dog Training, its owners, trainers, employees, and agents, from any claims, injuries, losses, expenses, or damages (including legal fees) that may arise in connection with training activities, whether occurring during a session or afterward while following training recommendations. My goal is always to keep both you and your dog safe and supported while we work together — this section just helps make sure everyone understands where responsibilities begin and end

While Chasing Tails Dog Training, LLC is dedicated to helping you reach your goals through positive, science-based training, it’s important to remember that every dog is an individual. Behavior can be influenced by genetics, environment, past experiences, and consistency at home — all of which can affect progress. Because of this, no specific results or guarantees can be made regarding behavior changes, training outcomes, or suitability for your goals. I’ll always provide the best possible support, guidance, and recommendations, but results ultimately depend on each dog’s unique temperament and the effort put in by the Client between sessions. Training is a journey we take together — consistency and communication between sessions are the key to success

Consistency and follow-through are essential for your dog’s progress. Training works best when sessions are attended regularly and as scheduled. While Chasing Tails Dog Training, LLC understands that unexpected situations may arise, please respect that appointment times are reserved specifically for you and your dog. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 12 hours’ notice whenever possible. Frequent or repeated cancellations, or more than two short-notice reschedules, may result in forfeiting that session or removal from the training program without refund. Deposits are non-refundable and secure your spot in class or on the schedule. Refunds are not guaranteed but may be considered on a case-by-case basis for emergencies or unavoidable circumstances. The goal is always fairness — but also consistency, so both you and your dog get the most from training.

🗓️ Trainer Cancellations Life happens on both sides of the leash! If Chasing Tails Dog Training, LLC needs to cancel or reschedule a session, you’ll be notified as soon as possible. You’ll always be offered the next available make-up session or class to stay on track with your dog’s progress. In the rare event of a weather delay, illness, or emergency, all sessions will be rescheduled promptly. My goal is to maintain a reliable, consistent schedule for you and your dog, while allowing grace when genuine conflicts arise.
Client agrees to provide complete and accurate information about their dog — including health, behavior, training history, and temperament — so that sessions can be tailored safely and effectively. To keep every class safe and enjoyable for both dogs and humans, the Trainer reserves the right to remove any dog or team from group sessions if: The dog shows excessive barking or disruptive behavior, The dog exhibits aggression or unsafe behavior toward people or other dogs, The dog is overly stressed or uncomfortable in the class environment, or The handler is unable to maintain safe control of their dog. If this happens, Chasing Tails Dog Training may recommend private sessions or an alternate training plan better suited for that dog’s needs. While refunds are not provided, every effort will be made to find a supportive path forward that keeps both safety and progress in mind. I want every dog to feel safe and successful — sometimes that just means a different setting or pace works better.
