    Ashley Bowers is a USAWE licensed Technical Delegate (TD) and Professional Instructor (PI). She was the first TD to come out of the training program in the nation, and the first PI in the state of Arizona. She has officiated throughout the US, Canada and Mexico. Ashley has been a multi year end state and region champion in Working Equitation on numerous horses in her training program. She also has a small breeding program consisting of Andalusians and Lusitanos. Ashley was a previous Arizona Working Equitation Club President and Founder, as well as a previous Region 2 Director for the national organization and helped with the merger and creation of the USAWE (current governing body of Working Equitation in the USA). Ashley also competes in competitive Dressage and believes in classical riding as the foundation of all equestrian disciplines.

  • Clinic to be held at El Rodeo Equestrian Center located at 4449 Carbon Canyon Rd, Brea, CA 92823.

    Saturday, May 24th will be a riding clinic. Both private and group sessions will be offered. Riders may sign up for one session or both a private and group session. Auditors welcome at $20/person (any persons not riding in the clinic wishing to watch).

    Sunday, May 25th will be a schooling show with levels 1-7 offered. Light snacks will be provided. Check in will start at 8am and first ride will tentatively be at 9am. Awards and prizes will be given in each level and division. We're also offering some cash awards! The show is free and open to the public to watch. Swag will be given to all participants! This show will be the first in the buckle series for the year. More details on eligibility and minimum number of shows required for series to be disclosed soon. There will also be high score awards at the show!

    All horses on site will be required to provide a current vaccination record (flu/rhino) within the last 6 months. Overnighting horses will be required to additionally provide a current negative Coggins AND either a vaccination record (flu/rhino) within the last 6 months OR a valid health certificate. These documents must be emailed to RisingPhoenixEquestrian@gmail.com. If documents are not received before May 23rd via email then participation will be canceled with no refund. No refunds offered after April 30th (less a $25 processing fee). No credits offered for future events.

    Payment in full required to secure space upon submission (unable to save spaces). Please Zelle funds to Ashley Bowers at 623-221-7401. If unable to Zelle please reach out about alternative payment methods. Please register for these events only when able to complete payment in order to save office work time.

    Registration deadline is May 16th, 2025. Any submissions received after this date will incur a $25 late fee per event day (no exceptions can be made as clinician is coming from out of state and must prepare the paperwork and schedule ahead of time).
