Expectations
Dress Code

Ladies
1. No cleavage or undergarments may show (consider movement such as dancing when determining if the dress meets this requirement)
2. The dress must be finger-tip length or longer all the way around, including any slits.
3. Openbacks must only be open above the waist and may not violate rule number 1.
4. Spaghetti straps and strapless dresses are acceptable as long as the above rules are met.
** Dancing is a big part of Prom! Please consider your ability to move, dance, and have fun when determining if the length, tightness, and overall design of a dress are appropriate for this event.**

Gentlemen
- Tuxedos, trendy suits, and nice buttoned-up shirts with dress pants are preferred; nice dark denim is okay
- NO RIPS OR HOLES will be permitted
- Shirts may not be unbuttoned past the 3rd button
Portions of the prom location are outdoors. Please consider that when selecting your attire.
Student Expectations
- Students will remain in the designated portions of the building at all times.
- Students are expected to listen and respond with respect to all adult chaperones.
- Students will not be allowed to return once they have left the premises.
- Attire will be checked at entry to the prom and attire that does not meet dress code standards will be discreetly dealt with
- At no time will inappropriate dancing (such as twerking, butts to groins, making out, hands below the waist on dance partner) be allowed.
- No vulgar language, yelling, or fighting will be allowed
- No alcohol, tobacco, drugs, or vaping is allowed on the premises. These abuses will be deemed a criminal offense and will be prosecuted as such
Drop off/Pick Up Expectations

If parents are dropping off kids:
- Drop-off parent is required to walk the kids inside, check them in, and provide a contact number and parent pickup information.
- Your child will ONLY be released to the adult on the check-in form.
- They will not be permitted to leave until the pick-up adult arrives.
If kids are driving themselves:
- Students will sign in and list passenger(s) arriving with them.
- Parents waive FED of all liability. They will be able to come and go at their choice. Once they leave, they cannot come back in.
Please provide details on how your student(s) will be arriving and being picked up for Prom. Will they be driving and/or driving others? If so, who? Will they be picked up by another adult? If so, who? You may update this information at the door or by emailing jayers@familyeducationdays.com prior to the event.
Liability Waiver
I, Parent Name* HEREBY WAIVE AND RELEASE, indemnify, hold harmless and forever discharge Family Education Days and its agents, employees, officers, directors, affiliates, successors and assigns, of and from any and all claims, demands, debts, contracts, expenses, causes of action, lawsuits, damages and liabilities, of every kind and nature, whether known or unknown, in law or equity, that I ever had or may have, arising from or in any way related to my participation in any of the events or activities conducted by, on the premises of, or for the benefit of, Family Education Days, provided that this waiver of liability does not apply to any acts of gross negligence, or intentional, willful or wanton misconduct. I understand that the activities and functions in which I participate may be considered (but do not have to be) of a volunteer/event nature, or for the benefit of a 501(c)(3), and/or dangerous and may cause serious or grievous injuries, including bodily injury, damage to personal property and/or death. On behalf of myself, my heirs, assigns and next of kin, I waive all claims for damages, injuries and death sustained to me or my property, that I may have against the afore mentioned released party to such activity. TRANSPORTATION, ARRIVAL, AND DEPARTURE OF TEEN DRIVERS. Transportation to and from all Family Education Days Sponsored events is solely the decision and responsibility of the family/parents/guardians. If a teen is permitted by the parents/guardians to drive themselves and/or their friends to and/or from an event, the families of such drivers will take full responsibility for their child/ children’s behavior, arrival, and departure times. FED will not be responsible for the arrival or departure of a child/children in attendance of an event if they drove independently and attended without a parent or guardian.EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES. I understand that if my children are in need of emergency care and it is not possible to reach me, event administrators have my permission to secure medical services for my children. Emergency care is defined as cardiac or respiratory distress where only immediate medical attention would keep a child alive. Should the need arise for a child to be transported to the hospital, an event administrator will stay at their side until a parent arrives. I also understand that I will be responsible for the cost of all such medical services. I further confirm that any allergies or medical issues have been recorded in our family profile.

There is a limited number of tickets to be sold. Once the ticket limit has been reached, no more tickets will be sold, including at the door.
