Thank you for your interest! By filling out this form, you are applying for an art commission from me. This is for personal commissions that are not intended for commercial use. If you are looking to hire me for commercial/non-private purposes, please write me an e-mail on the contact page instead.

Below you'll find all the information about prices, terms & conditions and the process. Just to make sure you and I both know what we're in for.

Prices

My rates can be seen in the images below. These include original artworks created with a traditional medium. Either pencil or watercolor. The original will be shipped to you. So no digital art ( and certainly no AI) If you have any questions about additional options, feel free to contact me.

Terms & Conditions

By sending in this form, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to the terms and conditions below.

         Usage and Licensing

• The rates listed on my website and social media apply to personal use only.

• For commercial use, an additional licensing fee applies. Please contact me via email to discuss details.

  Commission acceptance

• I reserve the right to decline any commission request at my discretion, including but not limited to subjects I am uncomfortable with.

  Art Style and Likeness

• My artwork is stylized and may not capture an exact likeness of a real-life person. If you require a highly realistic representation, you may prefer a realism-focused artist.

  Revisions

• I will provide multiple updates throughout the process for feedback.

• A total of five revision rounds are included in the price. Additional revisions will be charged at €5 per round.

• Please provide feedback as early as possible to avoid additional costs

  Delivery and Printing

• You will receive a unique original artwork shipped with tracking.

• You're welcome to have your commission printed, as long as it's for private use. Making a print to put on your wall? Of course! Making a hundred prints to sell on Etsy or uploading it to RedBubble? That's a no.

• It is also possible to request that I will get the prints created for you at additional cost.

        Usage Rights

• Once you receive artwork, it's now yours to use as you see fit.

• If you post it online, I'd love it if you tagged me so that others know where to find me, and so I can share it from you. Just don't pass it off as your own (or someone else's) work, and don't sell it in any way.

• Do not claim the artwork as your own or someone else’s, and do not sell or redistribute it.

• My artwork may not be used in blockchain-related technology, including NFTs, cryptocurrency, or AI databases.

• All artworks will include a subtle signature, which may not be removed.

• I may record and share the creation process on my social media or Patreon.

        Pricing and Payment

• Prices are subject to change based on demand.

• Currency accepted is either USD or Euro’s and can be paid through PayPal or bank transfer.

• All commissions must be paid in full upfront. However, for commissions over €100, installment payments may be arranged.

• Do not send any payment until I have confirmed your commission slot and requested payment.

        Turnaround Time

• The time it takes to finish your commission varies 1 week – 2 months depending on factors such as health, complexity of commissioned piece, other work, family issues and con seasons. If anything comes up that will slow the progress of the initially estimated delivery time I will let you know asap.

        Artist's Rights

• I, the artist, reserve the full rights to the image and it’s use/distribution unless otherwise agreed upon (rights to the image for your own non-personal use may be purchased). Therefore I am allowed to use the copyrighted artwork to:

   Promote my work
   Publish it in my books 
   Display it on my social media en website

  Refund Policy

• If I am unable to start your commission, you will receive a full refund.

• If you cancel your commission before I have begun, you will receive a full refund.

• Once work has started, a full refund is no longer available.

• If we mutually agree to cancel the commission during the process, a partial refund will be issued based on the work completed.

• If you are eligible for a refund, do not request a PayPal chargeback. I will process the refund myself.

        Chargebacks and Policy Violations

• If you request a Paypal chargeback at any point when you were not allowed to ask for a refund you will lose all beforementioned rights to the commissioned piece and I will have the full right to profit further from it in any way.
• I will also decline the chargeback and give Paypal our conversations in which we talk about the commission as evidence that I have completed work for you.
• Futhermore you will be blacklisted for commissioning me again.

        Breach of Terms

• If the buyer breaks any of the points stated above they will lose all beforementioned rights to the artwork commissioned by me, the artist, and I will have the right to profit further from the commissioned artwork in any way I see fit.
• If you have any concerns regarding these terms, please discuss them with me before placing your order.

Payment info

• Unless you have a EU bank account and can pay through direct bank transfer, payment is through PayPal only.
• Please always await my PayPal invoice before paying! That’s the best way to make sure it all goes right.
• You can either pay the full amount at once, or split the payment into two. The first half is due up front. The second half comes after you’ve approved of the final image.
• I will send you the artwork after all payment has been received. If you choose to pay all at once, the full payment is due up front.
• If you’d prefer to schedule payment in a different way, let me know! We can probably work something out that works for the both of us.

The Commission

TIP: I naturally don't mind working on a new character design with you. However, if you want to avoid the extra design fee (up to 25% of the character price), making your own design in a picrew or the character creator of a video game goes a long way!

TIP: If you have a specific composition / pose in mind, I would *love* a quick stick figure sketch as reference! You're not obligated to provide one, but if you do, they're incredibly helpful for me to make sure I'm working towards the image you want. :D

Once you hit 'submit', I'll look over your application. I'll get back to you with a price quote as soon as possible. You can of course still decline the commission after that.
