  • Scheduling Options

Our summer program begins Monday, June 16, 2025 and ends Thursday, August 14, 2025. Summer classes are scheduled Monday-Friday for one to three 50-minute sessions per day. We encourage students to begin their summer class(es) on our priority scheduling start date (Monday, June 16), though we do our best to be flexible with start dates throughout the summer. Class sessions are 50 minutes long. One session will be added at the end of each course for grading the student’s final assessments. Please select ALL times when your student will be available for class:

  • Priority scheduling is reserved for Monday, June 16. If a course is not completed by August 14, you must register for the 2025-2026 School Year to complete the course and receive credit. All courses over the summer term are scheduled according to Headland Prep’s class schedule.

  • New! Summer Enrichment Group Elecitves

We’re thrilled to announce that, in addition to our usual one-on-one instruction, we’ll be offering a select number of Summer Enrichment Low Fee Group Electives during the 2025 Summer Term. These unique classes will meet for two sessions per day and accommodate up to 5 students (minimum 2 students), providing a personalized yet collaborative group learning experience. Please note that these courses are not for credit.

  • Group Classes

Though our instruction is primarily one-to-one, parents may choose to coordinate their own small group classes of up to three students per group. Students should have similar learning strengths and paces in order to progress through the material effectively. Headlands reserves the right to split up students if the instructor feels that they are not working well together or if one student is struggling to keep pace with another. All students must follow the same class schedule and must coordinate any planned absences in advance to coincide with each other.

SUMMER COURSES ARE SCHEDULED EVERY DAY, MONDAY TO FRIDAY (M-F).

  • Vacation and Absences

All student absences are billed at the full session rate. We are not able to make courses inactive to accommodate vacations. If a family chooses to schedule a vacation when a student is actively enrolled in a course, students are welcome to attend classes remotely. We encourage families to take pre-planned vacations either before the summer start date or after their student completes any Summer courses.

To notify us that a student will be absent for any reason, parents are required to email the student’s teacher(s) and the campus administration (admin@headlandsprep.com) prior to the start of a scheduled class.

Students may not report their own absences. Email only (not a phone call) from a parent is required. To find a teacher’s email address, please log in to the online HPS Portal. Contact the administration at: admin@headlandsprep.com.

I understand and agree to the Vacations and Absences Policy.
