  • 2025-2026 High School CONFIRMATION REGISTRATIONS

  • A baptism certificate is needed to register.

If your child was not baptized at Holy Family ask for a baptism certificate from the Church where they received the Sacrament (if you do not already have a copy). In your request include the child's name, month and year of baptism.

Children baptized at Holy Family will be able to request a copy here, if you do not have one.

Our Risen Savior and Presentation joined Holy Family in July 2020; so we will not have any records at those sites prior to that date.

If you were baptized at ORS or PBVM please contact the archives at the Archdiocese of Milwaukee using their Sacramental Request form.

These documents should be uploaded into the registration below.

You are not officially signed up until we have the baptism certificate.

    Thank you!

A post card was sent out to all registered members of Holy Family. If you are a registered member of the parish and did not receive this post card please call the Parish Office (920-921-0580 ext. 101) to update your information.

  • Picking a Confirmation Sponsor

Take some time to pray and reflect on a holy and faithful person in your life that your would like to have guide you this year.

You must have choosen your Sponsor before the first meeting on September 28th, 2025.  (see calendar for more details)

    CONFIRMATION SPONSORS
Each candidate is to have a sponsor.
To be admitted to the role of sponsor, a person must
 be designated by the one to be confirmed
 be at least 16 years old
 be a Catholic who has been confirmed and who has already received the sacrament of the
Eucharist and leads a life in harmony with the faith and the role to be undertaken
 not be bound by any canonical penalty legitimately imposed or declared
 not be the father or mother of the one to be confirmed (c. 874)

A sponsor may be either male or female.
Sponsors should receive formation which highlights their role and responsibilities. They are encouraged to deepen their own faith, and to be models of discipleship. Parishes should offer opportunities for sponsors to have an active role in the preparation process, including opportunities for the candidate and sponsor to share their faith and to strengthen their
    relationship with one another.

    1. May a candidate have more than one sponsor?
Yes. However, only one should be designated as the liturgical sponsor who will present the candidate for confirmation.

    2. May parents be sponsors?
Parents may not act as sponsors (c. 874). While parents are not to serve as sponsors, their role in the faith development of their children is not to be underplayed or minimized.

    3. May someone who cannot be present be a sponsor and someone else fill in as proxy?
Yes. However, it is recommended that someone nearby be chosen as the sponsor so that she or he can become more intimately involved in the candidate's preparation.

    4. May a priest, deacon or professed religious be a sponsor?
Priests, deacons, and men and women religious may be sponsors. Religious do so in accord with their own constitutions and usually only with permission from their superior.

After you have choosen your Confirmation Sponsor, the Sponsor must register online at hffdl.org/select a confirmation sponsor

  • SAFEGUARDING INFORMATION

In the pastoral effort to respond to the need for the protection of children and youth, the Archdiocese of Milwaukee requires that all children and youth in grades K4-12 in schools and faith formation programs be given additional information on how to protect themselves and become aware of their surroundings. As the primary caregiver of your child, it is your decision whether you would like your child to participate in this lesson, but the Parish is required to offer this information. The lesson plan will also be sent out by email so that you may review it ahead of time.
  • PHOTO PERMISSIONS

The Holy Family Parish photographer or coordinator will be present to take photos or videos of the students for use in program displays, the parish bulletin or website, or other publicity-related publications. These materials will only be used for appropriate purposes and names will not be listed. It will be assumed that you give permission for your child to be photographed or videotaped unless you provide a statement via e-mail to the High School Coordinator. We will reply back to verify that your wishes are understood. If you do not receive a response back within 24 hours, we did not receive your e-mail so please try again.
  • ATTENDANCE POLICY

IMPORTANT: The priest team has approved this abbreviated program only under the stipulation that candidates attend ALL of the dates in their session. Absences are not excused, nor can they be made up at an additional event without the permission of a priest. If a candidate misses a Sunday meeting or a portion of their retreat, they will have to contact the coordinator to schedule a meeting with a priest. At this meeting, candidates can explain the circumstances surrounding their absence & request to continue in the sacramental program. If the priest deems the circumstances legitimate, the coordinator will assign a suitable make-up event. If the priest does not deem the circumstances legitimate, and denies the request for continuation in the sacramental program, then candidates can reapply for Confirmation the following year.

RECOMMENDATION: As soon as candidates select a session, they should clear their extracurricular, athletic, and work schedules for those dates. Contact your coaches and employers as soon as possbile.
