As Triangle Throwball Club, We want to ensure that all volunteers who register with our organization clearly understand that this is an unpaid role. Volunteering is purely based on interest, passion for sports, and a willingness to support and promote the game.
By signing up as a volunteer, you acknowledge that:
- Volunteering does not come with any salary or financial compensation.
- Your contribution is valued and appreciated, but it is strictly voluntary.
- The purpose of volunteering is to support the sport, help the community, and gain experience in the event organization.
If you are passionate about supporting the sport, bringing the community together, and helping organize better events, we welcome you to join us!
This is a non-paid opportunity, where you contribute your time and effort to encourage throwball and create a better experience for everyone involved.
The estimated number of hours required is 45-60hrs per year, depending on the number of events and your assigned tasks.

- You don't have to be a player, anyone passionate about supporting sports can join
- Minimum age requirement : 12+

As a Volunteer, you can help with :
- Social media & promotions - Help spread about TTC Events
- Photography & videography - Capture key moments from matches and events
- Courts Setup & removal - Setup & organize courts before the game and after the game tear off the nets and organization essentials.
- Website - Support with website updates & maintainance.
- Registration Checks - Assist with players check-ins & verification.
- Scorekeeping - Assist in track and record of the match scores.
- Ensure the game venue is clean, organized, and safe for players and spectators.
- Ensure teams are ready for their matches.
- Help enforce rules and maintain fair play on the field.
- Guide participants and answer any questions related to schedule or event details.
- Assit with live streaming or social media updates (if needed).
- Create content to promote the event and highlight the player achievements.
- Proofreading event summaries (if needed)

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Triangle Throwball Club (TTC)! As a volunteer, you play a vital role in ensuring the success of our leagues, tournaments, and community events. Please review the following guidelines and policies to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.
General Expectations
- Volunteers must be punctual and reliable for their assigned duties.
- Follow the instructions of TTC Organizers and coordinators.
- Treat all players, officials, spectators, and fellow volunteers with respect and professionalism.
- Maintain positive and encouraging attitude while representing TTC.
- Adhere to TTC's sportsmanship values, ensuring fairness and inclusivity.
Attendance & Commitment
- Volunteers should confirm their availability in advance and commit to assigned tasks.
- If unable to attend, notify the coordinator at least 24hours in advance to allow for a replacement.
- Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may impact your future volunteering opportunities.
Code of Conduct
- Volunteers must refrain from any biased behavior during matches or events.
- No inappropriate language, harassment, or discrimination will be tolerated.
Volunteers must avoid conflicts of interest, especially in roles like scorekeeping or referee assistance.
- Any concerns or disputes should be reported wo the event coordinator immediately.
Confidentiality & Media Policies
- Any sensitive information (team/player details, event planning, finances) must be kept confidential at all times.
- Volunteers assisting with photography, videography, or social media must obtain consent before posting images of players.
- All event media and promotions must align with TTC's branding and values. should confirm their availability in advance and commit to assigned tasks.
Safety & Liability
- Volunteers must prioritize safety - report any hazards or injuries to organizers immediately.
- TTC is not responsible for personal belongings, keep valuables secure.
- Volunteers participating in physical tasks(court setup, carrying equipment, etc.) should take necessary precautions to avoid injury.

- Volunteers should wear comfortable and appropriate attire (TTC Volunteer shirts if provided)
- Any ID Badges or wristbands provided must be worn during the event for identification.
Recognition & Benefits
- Volunteers will receive official recognition for their service (certificates, appreciation events, etc.,)
- Volunteering hours may be counted towards community service requirements (where applicable).
- Exceptional volunteers may be offered leadership roles in future events.

- Repeated tardiness or failure to fulfill assigned duties.
- Disruptive or inappropriate behavior
- Violating TTC's policies, code of conduct, or ethics.
