Kitchen Session
The Kitchen Session is an artistic exchange project where artists from the Canton of Zürich curate small events, exhibitions or simply create interventions in each other’s kitchens supported by the Collective Papillarya. The kitchen becomes the heart of the experience, with temporary artistic interventions like talks, readings, screenings, installations etc. Each participant hosts and curates as an exchange. The project will also be documented through a publication and a documentary film by the Papillarya Collective. HOSTING AN EVENT IN YOUR KITCHEN IS A REQUIREMENT FOR PARTICIPATION ! :) The project will take place between may-june. Papillarya will notice you about your kitchen partner by the end of march.

The requirement for participating is hosting an event in your kitchen (Canton Zürich). In which city/ district is your kitchen located?
How many people can your kitchen accommodate comfortably?
Would you be open to guests in other parts of your house if needed? The exhibition would last max one day of the weekend.
Would you prefer your event in your space to be public or invitation-only? (You should be open to the artist inviting their selected guests to your kitchen.)
What kind of intervention* would you like to create in another artist’s kitchen? (A talk, reading, installation, music performance, etc.) *All works must be temporary; no permanent changes can be made to the kitchen. Temporary alterations should be minimal and can be discussed with the host.
Would you like Papillarya Collective to handle food and drinks for the event in your kitchen?
